POPSChild Care Perth Gone Wrong After Family Day Care, we had to place our son in a child care service which he absolutely detested. He didn't like the other rough kids nor the non-personalised care. It was with a heavy heart and not-very-rarefied perspective that we kept him in this child care service in Perth. It's a decision I regret and, if we had that time again, I might recant the decision to persist down that path. I think what blinded us was this overwhelming rhetoric that child care is great for independence and socialisation. I think this is true to an extent, but certainly the generalisation came to an abrupt halt with my son who was not able to fit into the gorup at large.

POPSTraditional Taekwondo Techniques Welcome to Colin's Traditional Taekwondo Technique Workshop Blog. POPSFamily Day Care Family Day Care is a personal story of how we enrolled my son into a Family Day Care provider here in Perth at age 18mo to ready him for full time school. Family Day Care is a child care service coordinated by Family Day Care WA. Carers provide care for up to four children in their own homes and bring a nurturing home-based approach to minding your children. We thought very highly of the child carer we chose and she was very good for my son.

POPSA House Divided This post talks about a child's need to be able to make independent decisions and be allowed to know that they do not need to conform to their parents preferences or decision making approach. It is important for children to know that they are capable of making up their own mind and to know that they can have their own likes and dislikes. This creates independence and can unfetter the child from preconceived ideas.
