POPSDisconnected From The Real World Living in a fantasy place where my actions have no repercussions. Where I can do whatever I want and there are not opposite reactions. Now that's the life: Insanity

POPSThe Two Party Facade Continues The Democratic super majority still remains ineffective in passing what the people want and need. It takes a comedian to point out the absurdity of this situation.

POPSHow To Dismantle Corporate Fascism Definition and examples: http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/DD6E3476-DCCD-48A0-9DDB-733FB51E31C8/ Measures to dismantle it: 1) Take away corporations' freedom of speech. It is a right for citizens, not artificial entities. They should not be involved in mass media and in funding television programs for their own benefit. 2) Take away corporations' ability to control government. Prohibit lobbyists from having access to Congress. Prohibit their campaign funding of political candidates.

POPSThe Incredible Disappearing Sonic Clothes Washer Now a "new" washer appears that replaces most of the water with "reusable nylon polymer beads" ???? http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/B051B3FE-C8A7-4B61-82B9-B738C3D74966/ I saw a TV demo of this machine long ago but for some reason it has become almost impossible to find information on this Japanese invention. Ask yourself why?

POPSOur Molecular Age vs. Our Chronological Age It's official, tobacco use and physical inactivity, not really BMI, ages you. Time to quit smoking and start exercising more. The more interesting question: Could counteracting p16INK4a be the real fountain of youth? Did Juan Ponce de León need a genetics degree, not a ship and armed men?

POPSThe Chemistry of Crop Circles Sure it would be cool if extraterrestrial life forms were sending us encoded messages. The local chemist might be a little bored though and hiding behind the bushes to make fun of you. These started looking a little too familiar to be from the stars ;-)

POPSThe CitiCAT and MiEv coming soon Despite what the ignoramuses and special interest groups say, the reason we need these technologies is becoming more and more obvious around the globe: http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/34145218-DDDA-496B-A5ED-5BBAD785C2B1/

POPSHigh school girl solves her own medical mystery This is proof of what I'm used to saying to my friends after some experiences and anecdotes from other friends: "Doctors are like mechanics. Some of them are good, some of them not so good, and sometimes you end up doing all the work."

POPSThe History of Weed This makes the war on MJ look like a waste of time and resources. I never knew its use had been so present throughout history.

POPSNine things the internet has ruined forever The only thing I would disagree a bit with is the part about journalists. The journalist was already dying with big media corporations deciding what is news and what is not. They replaced real journalists by yes men and pretty mannequins who claimed to be reporters but are nothing more than glorified prompt readers. Bloggers and aggregators came out strong because there was a need for honesty and a need to express dissenting opinion within the populace. Clipmarks is successful because it combines both approaches.

POPSObama Administration denies funding for Aptera Electric Car This car was all over the news. Everyone saw it as a concept car. Yet funding was denied by the Obama Administration due to a stupid technicality: It only has 3 wheels. Are we back to bush for brains? Watch minute 1:30 in the last video report by Reuters. One of the heads of the company states their loan was denied.
