POPSEngage Your Child "Communication begins as soon as a baby is born. The way you touch, hold, look at and talk to babies help them learn your language, and the different ways babies cry help you learn their language. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association urges parents to reinforce communication efforts by looking at the baby and imitating vocalizations, laughter and facial expressions."

POPSHer Body; My Baby No one can appreciate the pain of infertility unless you have been there and done that. And I have to some extent. I was married for 7 years until I had my firstborn and I thought I'd never have a child but I did. :) So I saved the ovulation charts for the inevitable day that she would say "You never wanted me!" in a moment of anger. But that never happened because she was is such a perfect daughter and my particular angel. And I love and miss her so.

POPSBaby, You're Home *shudder* This brings back memories of my second labor. I laid in the hospital through 3 shifts because my daughter was posterior, and I can remember vomiting and thinking goodbye cruel world cause I'm gonna die and I don't care as long as my baby makes it.

POPSNow, The Bad News Well, what can I say? I married young, and it's lasted all these years. Then again "my guy" and I were responsible enough to use birth control before marriage and until we were able to afford any children. Of course Palin will help out daughter with the affording part, so it's all good baby. I remember listening to the priest before we got married giving us the big talk about the "rhythm" method; and I was thinking I can't wait to get my rhythm on later baby and I bet he can't either!

POPSMorning Sickness Means A Girl I can personally vouch for this one! I should have been hospitalized as sick as I was with both my girly girls during the first trimester, instead my doc just got pissed that I was losing so much weight.

POPSHarder to Breathe "May all your troubles last as long as your New Year's resolutions." — Joey Adams My New Year's resolution is to be better at taking a "deep breath" and just letting things slide. Yeah, baby! :D

POPSdesperate housewifes The premier episode was hysterically funny particularly the "I don't do that; I'm a republician" scene.
