POPSRaccoon Dog This is the only member of the dog family that hibernates! It's native to Japan (where it's called Tanuki) and China, and it's been introduced into parts of eastern Europe. It's about twice the size of a Beagle. I love them !

POPSA Critical Moment for Darfur Violence continues due to the UN being totally inept, they bark but rarely ever bite and everyone knows it. They have the authorization to put a stop to the genocide but lack the fortitude to do so. What's New? Nero played while Rome burned - the UN talks while the sands of the Sudan soak up more blood.

POPSAnything to grab a few more tourists....... With the oncoming Olympics, Beijing, Shanghai and other more developed and polluted ares of that vast nation are already certain of getting more than their fair share of the tourist trade.... obviously other provinces would hop on the band wagon... I just wonder why they need to make up fakes.... there are loads of breath-taking panoramas... but I guess the present day tourist from overseas is so spoilt, he can only be goade by pubblicity....
