POPSThe Right Was Right Now that the elections are over we can all focus on what really matters: calling each other names. This time around we have someone on the Right pretending to be someone on the Left and thence presenting the Democrat's "new manifesto" to Congress. I figured this would be pretty stupid... and it is. But it's so patently absurd that it actual moves into the realm of humour. Afterthought: It's either that or someone really on the Left making fun of people on the Right for their paranoia about what will happen when the "godless, heathen, french-hippie communists" take over. I didn't bother to do enough research. Either way, enjoy. Or don't.

POPSThe New Southern Strategy Despite the fact that all Southerners are backwards religious yokels, and that all Democrats are godless heathen Socialists, it should be easier to convince them not to vote against their own interests. Yet for years they have. I think if the Democrats want to maintain control of Congress in the coming years, they are going to open up a lot more to the Southern states.

POPSIs Olbermann on Thin Ice? The idea that the current news organisations are Bush friendly is nothing new. At least to those who have been paying attention. Despite the fact that our country was founded on the idea of dissent of the government in charge, doesn't factor into the politics of today. When Bush made his black and white pronouncement that you're either with him or the terrorists, the news media took that to mean self-censorship. The fact that Olbermann has gotten more and more brash as they weeks go on, causes some to wonder if he will last long.
