POPSA good way of distinguishing Web 1.0 versus Web 2.0 I'd like to see "bookmarks" added to the list under Web 1.0 and "clipmarks" added to the list under web 2.0. Inherant with the evolution of the web and the proliferation of content online is the need for a better way to manage it all.

POPSBusiness Week on the 'new web' as i read articles like that (and more and more is being written about this everyday) i feel even more certain that a solution like Clipmarks is needed to help manage the ever-increasing amount of information people find online. Am i driking the "kool-aid:?

POPSDave Winer responds to Mike Arrington's criticism... Here's the story in a nutshell. Dave Winer, Russell Shaw and Richard MacManus wrote blog posts about Web 2.0 basically being a lot of hype. Mike Arrington, Mr Web 2.0 himself, then wrote a blog post ripping into them for it. The content above is Dave Winer's response...i hope this debate continues as i personally find the "web 2.0" movement to be moving in the wrong direction and becoming more about hype and fraternity than anything. Would love to know what others think.

POPSIs there such a thing as Web 2.0? I totally agree with Russell's analysis. There more this Web 2.0 term is used the more i want to distance Clipmarks from it. I find it to be more of a fraternity than a movement. A month or so ago i wrote a post about this on my blog. Here's a link to that if you're interested: http://clipmarks.blogs.com/ericgoldstein/2005/11/what_web_20_mea.html
