Very cool web site, and project. I clipped the photos, but there is plenty of text describing the process too. If you like to recycle, even in your art, this is a very cool web site over all. TONS of projects!

Memory Wire beaded Stitch Markers
franstuff

Just when I thought I had found absolutely every kind of stitch marker there was, here is even yet another type of stttch marker. She made loopes at the end of the memory wire, but I think memory wire end caps would look more professional, and would be less likely to snag than a loop at the end. Not to mention that memory wire is hard to bend in the first place. You would want to use the size of memory wire intended for rings.

These flexible coated wire stitch markers look like the way to go.... These you can see she crimped at the bottom with a flat crimp, which I think gives it a cool look. Including a row marker seems like a cool idea too.

These are really simple and rustic. If you know how to solder, they would be fun and easy to make. If not, 10 bucks isn't too much for a dozen hand made stitch markers!
