About me
I'm an anti authoritarian, centrist Libertarian. I'd be an Objectivist if I could believe in "objective truth," but as a multiple personality, that doesn't pass the giggle test. But I try to objectively support my subjective viewpoints.

I'm also on the autistic spectrum, with asperger's autism, and I'm have convinced that autism is a genetic enhancement - in early alpha release.
Why I use Clipmarks
I use clipmarks in the same way I use any other blogging utility - because it helps me support my positions with sources. I wish it was a little less restrictive in the amount clipped - but then again, brevity IS the soul of wit.

And the end of political apathy.

Let's keep it simple, folks. It's not NAFTA or Social Security that will beat McCain. It's 3 dollar milk, shrinking wages, skyrocketing gas prices and a war that has delivered nothing but three dollar milk, shrinking wages and skyrocketing gas prices.

The fix, is it in?

The author - writing for The Nation - asserts and documents that the Swift Boat Vets are in fact the main money men behind the Republican Party. Far from being a deniable fringe element - they are the ones calling the shots.

Rumsfeld Flees France Fearing Arrest
graphictruth
by graphictruth  10-29-2007    4
Of course, the French did not catch him. But then, the unresolved situation as it stands is so very much more elegant than the potential unpleasantness and paperwork involved in actually catching and prosecuting him, which would have allowed Bush to do something. This situation leaves the White House impotent - and leaves Rumsfeld an official fugitive from justice. Of course, the honorable thing would have been to INSIST that the matter be resolved before a court. But under Napoleonic Law, you have to establish your innocence, rather than our system, where the prosecution has to prove your guilt. I can understand why Rummy might prefer a venue with different standards. A FISA court, for instance.

It never happened, they aren't responsible and it isn't their fault.

"Retired Gen. Richard Myers, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said he learned of the likelihood of friendly fire toward the end of April but that it wasn't his responsibility to inform the White House or the Tillman family. "I don't think there's any regulation that would require me to do anything," said Myers. He blamed the Army." I think perhaps a few former Noncoms and Enlisted Personnel in various states of decrepitude should park their canes and wheelchairs on this bastard's lawn. Embarrass this brass hat - and ever other fat-assed brass hat who's been a willing participant in this matter. Buy shares in the companies they shill for and show up at stockholder meetings. Write letters to the editor of regional newspapers that Gen. Whatsname, who denied all responsiblity to do right by Pat Tillman, is now employed by Widgitco. Is this REALLY the image Wigitco wants to protect? Etc. I think it's time to make the Corrupt Bastards sweat PESONALLY.

Major source of terrorist attackers Saudi, Iraqis say.
graphictruth
by graphictruth  7-17-2007    1
File this under "Things that make you go hmmm," that the majority of suicide bombers and facilitators, like those responsible for 9/11 are Saudi, and our government has full knowledge of these facts, having imprisoned and interrogated them. If Saudi Arabia is the problem, why is this administration focusing on their enemy - Iran instead of those who are actually, provably culpable?
