Christians interrupt Hindu prayer in Senate
    jasontromm
    by jasontromm  7-13-2007    1
Seems to me like the protesters picked the wrong form of protest. They should have turned their backs on the Hindu saying the prayer. Before they left the Senate chamber they should have symbolically removed their shoes and shook the dust off them. Just as the disciples did when they left a town that rejected Christ.

    Clean YouTube

I'm not sure that a "Christian" alternative to YouTube will be any more successful at censoring "dirty" videos.

    Tribute to Jerry Falwell

    by jasontromm  5-18-2007    1
Here's the best commentary I've seen yet about Jerry Falwell's death. One thing she doesn't get right -- Falwell's comments about the Teletubbies. He didn't say anything about them, it was the editor of his magazine that made the comments about Tinkie Winkie.

Bob Jones University declines meeting with pro-'gay' advocates

Before you go criticizing Bob Jones University remember this: They are a private university on private property. The Soul Force riders have no right to be on the property, nor do they have a right to push their views on the leadership of BJU.

Faithful challenge newborn blood test laws
    jasontromm
    by jasontromm  1-29-2007    2
I'm glad to see some people are challenging the states mandates. I objected to my son's blood being sent to a state lab because they keep the blood for a certain period of time. I feel it's a violation of privacy for the state to keep anybody's DNA for any amount of time unless they've been convicted of a crime.

Students keep free speech -- even in school talent show

We need more courts to correctly interpret the law and the 1st Amendment in this way. This is the correct ruling. (But don't expect the 9th Circus Court of Appeals to rule this way any time soon!)
