POPSAnglican conservatives form group Good! Though the article makes the issue about homosexuality, the schism is deeper and indeed involves the issue of a "false gospel". And the irony is that the move towards traditional Christianity is coming from the African Anglicans.

POPS'My Heart is in Gaza' I wondered how the Arab Christians were managing in Gaza and the West Bank. One thing for sure, there's no *pretend* Christians there.

POPSDenzel Washington's Ministry of Movies I knew there was a reason I liked him, but I had no idea of his Christian faith. I liked him in Deja Vu and The Preacher's Wife. I liked what he said about never wanting the 'bad guys' to not receive their rightful end in his films. He acknowledges that 'the wages of sin is death' and he wanted that portrayed. His words about his life and his attitudes reminds me of those I read expressed by Justice Thomas.

POPSTurkey: Malatya Murder Trial Set to Open I had forgotten about these murders. I'm interested in some knowledgeable insights. In Turkey, is it common to consider Christianity a threat? Gee, Turkey...the home of the 7 Churches of Revelation and a major center of Paul's Missionary activity.

POPSOn Coulter, Christians, And Jews Another Jewish 'thinker's perspective on Coulter's words. It helps to understand Christian theology, which gives insight to what she meant by 'perfected'. And contrary to the current anti-Christian propaganda, it will be the true Christians who will seek to protect the Jewish people.

POPSGraham grandson returns to flock with prodigal son story.. Franklin Graham had a similar experience growing up and his story is told in a book by his mother. It was very encouraging during a time with my son. Though he was never into drugs, he had strayed from our family. Never give up on your children. It's amazing how God can transform their lives.

POPSTV airing for Islam's story of Christ I have not problem with this. PBS puts out stuff that bears no resemblance to what I consider orthodox Christianity all the time. It's just another's religious opinion; whether secular or Islamic. But I agree with Mr. Sookdeo...how would the extremist Muslim's respond in kind? Genuine Christians rest in the truth of their Faith. No longer is there the need or an understanding that there's a Biblical mandate to demand that other's believe as we do.

POPSOffiers' role in Christian video probed If this were not so tragic, this would be absurd. Another hate-group seeking to erase an individual's freedom of religious expression. Just because you're in the military, or wear a uniform, a person is not allowed to make comments supportive of your religious persuasion? Another anti-Christian on a crusade. Oh, and wanting "oversight hearings"? Just what this Congress does best. Ooooooo...and against the Defense Department. Ms. O'Hare, where ever you are...observe your legacy. :~(

POPSCancer's Unexpected Blessings I truly can not identify with Tony's thinking. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I haven't been where he is. But it's an encouragement to know that, while in the midst of knowing that your days are short on this earth, Christians can find comfort and inner peace.

POPSKidnapping brings unwanted attention to Afghan Christians Though I'm not sure I would consider the South Koreans trip to Afghanistan very wise, I do admire those who withstand the pressure and ostracism of family and government to adhere to what they believe. It will only become more difficult for Christians, and Jews, in the future.

POPSLawsuit: Penn. school prohibits Jesus costume Usually I just see these and move on; but there seems to be a pervasive belief that the freedoms of speech and expression are not being repressed in America. I think I'll start keeping track. I guess with his robe, he could have gone as Pontius Pilate or Nero.

POPSForgotten Faith Is this the future of Christianity in America? The very thing that made her great?
