POPSZinnie to Obama: Time's Up on Afghanistan Decision If Zinni is calling for more troops Now then things are more serious than we're hearing. And I bet he didn't use the word "dillydallying". I just read that 8 US soldiers were killed today by roadside bombs. Either support our people there or throw our integrity to the wind and leave.

POPSElBaradei says nuclear Israel #1 threat to Mideast report AT LAST...the Director General has unmasked himself. It's not about Iran...it's about Israel!!! I can imagine the "talks" he & Iran's mega-leader will have. "condemned Iran's alleged deception"?? It's been known for years. My jaw drops at the attempts these people go to to dupe and mislead people.

POPSObama Frees Iranian Terror Masters I guess this is the Administrations way of opening dialog with a sworn enemy of the United States. All the while Iranian people are dying, it's government is supplying weapons through out it's Middle East tentacles and even into our hemisphere, it's received the OK from Obama to continue it's nuclear weapons program (and we all know that's what it is), and the attacks within Iraq from Iran WILL continue.
5
POPSIsrael & Egypt Lose Faith in Obama Obama is just making the certainty happen more quickly. He is dissing our traditional allies and cozying up with the Islamic nations believing that talks & appeasement will protect us. Has he read Islamic history at all?
7
POPSNetanyahu stands firm against demands from Obama It may be in the best interests of Obama & the international community, but NOT in the best of the Israelis. Israel is surrounded by a "terror base". Giving Hamas a state, complete with all that would entail, is insanity. Saying things differently or using diplomatic-speak doesn't change that. Hamas is exactly like the Taliban and Somalia war lords.

POPSAs the US Retreats, Iran Fills the Void Israel has every right to be very concerned about Iran. (thank you, Mr. Obama) and yes, even take out their nuke sites if they can. They are being encircled just as the US is by Russia, China, and Iran. It seems that the history of entire civilizations have been forgotten.

POPSGingrich tells 'Post': Obama is endangering Israel I didn't always agree with him but I miss this man. I always knew what he believed because he was blunt & to the point. Obama is indeed endangering Israel and by doing so, the entire region. He's even more of a novice than Carter and much more manipulated and gullible.

POPSIn Clinton List, a Veil is Lifted on Foundation These countries and 'celebrities' didn't give vast amounts of money for nothing. What's his is hers. "conflict of interests"...of course. The Clinton's are debtors to those from whom they took millions. From Saudi Arabia it's estimated between 10-25 million. And to think Pres. Bush was accused of being "owned" by foreign oil. And don't for a minute believe this is but a partial list.

POPSChristian Zionists: The Real Terrorists The NCC belongs right up there with the UN. Support the enemies of Western Civilization, talk about the evils of Israel's self-protection, and denigrate traditional Christianity. FTA: "That Americans as a whole, and not just ostensibly kooky evangelicals, are more partial to Israel than the Palestinian cause is informed not just by Israel’s role in the Bible but by modern history. Democratic Israel is seen is a miraculous regathering of an ancient people into a successful nation state. The Palestinians, who have never had a nation, often seem more enthusiastic about destroying their Jewish neighbors than creating a country of their own."

POPSArab Paper: 'Obama's Historic Intifada' Allows Islam to.... It doesn't matter. Over half of the US citizens apparently have decided that the "Change" man is who they want...completely disregarding that all our avowed enemies want him also. I bet we will see cheering, dancing in the streets, gun-fire going off, women clucking their tongues all over the Middle East tomorrow...just as we saw on 9/11. While most Americans don't consider Obama a Muslim/Islamic sympathizer, *they* do.
2
POPSIranian official calls for attack on UK Jeeezz....the UK is weak against the local Islamic movements. They are an easy target. It remains to be seen how strong an Obama Administration will be against this advancing throng of militant Iranians.
2
POPSNasrallah: Palestine, from sea to river, entirely Arab property From his own lips he proclaims the plans and intentions of the Muslim/Arab world of the Middle East. Take the blinders off, appeasers. He's serious and all the peace talks, initiatives, plans, meetings, etc...will not change their goal. No Israel. No Israelis. period. What more can he say??
4
POPS'Radical Islam' video angers S. Fla. Muslims We don't get our local newspaper, but a friend gave me their copy yesterday. I think I've seen it somewhere else. The amazing thing is that it was distributed by The Tallahassee Democrat!!! the most liberal-minded newspaper in N. Florida!! The truth is the truth...the images, actual footage, iman's presentations and recruitment don't lie.
7
POPSThe joke is finally on Barack Obama For those of us who are no fans of Obama....just a fun article that sums up his campaign fairly well. FTA: "..when Obama was asked what he thought about being called arrogant, well, he said he was 'above having to answer that question.'"
7
POPSSenate OKs promotions of Iraqi generals Petraeus certainly deserves the promotion but I hope it's not too soon for him to leave his post. Everyone has a propensity to change things around once they start to go well.
8
POPSWhy Big Oil is not to blame for fuel prices FTA: "Russia's flag-planting PR stunt on the Arctic seabed last year was not about some new-found concern to protect the environment - it was about oil." "If governments decide to plunder these profits through windfall taxes, we all lose." This article describes the issues in it's simplest form. There's boocoodles of oil and multi-options for other sources of energy. I'm hoping the American Spirit, (not the politicians & the small-minded), will take this opportunity and go with it.
2
POPSObama advisor: Jerusalem must be included in peace talks "...as opposed to the current Israeli administration which is not.." So the Israeli governments that resist and oppose the sovereign lose of Jerusalem *must* make the concession? This alone is enough to confirm that I would never vote for Obama.
1
POPSSaddam's Terror Links FTA: "The main Iraq intelligence failure was over WMD, but the report indicates that the CIA also underestimated Saddam's ties to global terror cartels."
4
POPSTennis in Dubai -- to rj3sp I loved your pictures of Dubai and was reminded of these photos I had seen a couple of years ago. They're horrifying to me. My legs would not even hold me if I were that high! I was reminded of the Assyrian, Babylonian and Persian Empires of the ancient world and their amazing and elaborate architecture. They are rising again.
1
POPSPoison cake kills Iraqi children Is this not the depths of evil. Not been used 'since the downfall of Saddam Hussein....' So is this Bush's fault??? I'm sooooo glad that man is gone. Sadly there are many others who believe his tactics are worthy of imitation. Speaks volumes and even the BBC must report it.
2
POPSOlmert Gov't Bans Jewish Prayer From Temple Mount If this is true...this is without a doubt the most asinine *pronouncement* that I have EVER heard. "don't move your lips". If the average Israeli allows this to stand, they truly are doomed! No matter that they have the strongest military in the Middle East, the most stable economy, and the most productive of brain-banks. Somebody...please....give a brain and some common sense to someone in the Israeli government. If this stands...all ya'll just lay down and say to Hamas and Fatah..."take us over.'
3
POPSThe First Lady's quiet coup The story behind the First Lady's visit and the women in burkas. Nice article with some telling remarks about individual relationships in different cultures.
2
POPSVladimir Putin pledges to complete Iranian nuclear reactor Whoa! The stakes are getting higher! So what does our government do? Allow them to strengthen themselves more, forge more alliances, and wait for their move against the US and our national interests? the security interests of Europe? against Israel? Who, among our Presidential candidates, actually believes they have the wisdom, the fortitude, the power to deal with the major problems waiting for them? Frankly, I don't see any one among them qualified for the responsibility.
4
POPSDon't accept two-state solution, refugees tell Abbas "...beforehand....". That says a lot to me. And I have to wonder if these "representatives" truly speak for the "refugees". And frankly, the problem of the "refugees" rests on the shoulders of those in authority in the PA provinces. Can't wait to hear about that 'joint-statement' from Olmert & Addas. s/off And has it been the Palestinians 'fighting' these last decades or infiltrators and instigators with a Muslim/anti-Israeli agenda? I have to believe that without the outside influences, the Israeli-*resident* Palestinian issues would have been solved years ago!
6
POPSIt's crucial to reveal the truth even at this late stage I remember this. It was heartbreaking to watch and heartbreaking to see how the incident was being used to fan the flames of violence. But since then, we have seen many such situations being manipulated for propaganda purposes whose main purpose is to continue the hate. Even then, there were doubts that the footage was accurate. But how many people really *care* if it was or not.
6
POPSIran Irreversible? There's been a lot of complaints against the US, Bolton, Great Britain and France. The truth is the truth. I'd like to know what the solutions are from the *other side*. Just let Iran gain nuclear supremacy in the Middle East, extended it's power across the arena, and ultimately controlling the economic and social structure of the entire world? Even those in Ireland would feel the iron-fist of Islamic domination.

POPSThe Surrender Lobby It doesn't take a brain surgeon to know this. Even I know what will happen if the current surrender monkeys get their way. Then every single death of every single innocent Iraqi, who put their trust in the US and it's word, will be on the head of this 'surrender lobby'.
