Thanks to their pipe-dream platform, it’s clear there are people with serious designs on “transformational” change in America who are using the protesters like bedsprings in a brothel. Yet it’s not my role as a commentator that prompts my parenting question, but rather the fact that I’m the mother of four teens and young adults. There are some crucial life lessons that the protesters’ moms clearly have not passed along. Here, then, are five things the OWS protesters’ mothers should have taught their children but obviously didn’t, so I will: • Life isn’t fair. The concept of justice – that everyone should be treated fairly – is a worthy and worthwhile moral imperative on which our nation was founded. But justice and economic equality are not the same. Or, as Mick Jagger said, “You can’t always get what you want.”

POPSSEATTLE REVERSES BAN ON "BUY AMERICAN" “The ads were rejected by King County as being too political,” Tso told Fox News & Commentary, wondering if the county was simply being politically correct. “Buy American should never be a bad word,” he said. “Those are words we should have pride in as citizens of the United States.” But county officials told the Seattle Times that they have a policy against ads that express a viewpoint on “matters of public debate about political, religious or social issues.” “The concept of ‘Buy American’ is an issue of both political and economic debate,” spokeswoman Linda Thielkein wrote in an email to the newspaper. POPSDRUG TUNNEL DISCOVERY The tunnel was discovered by San Diego's Tunnel Task Force in cooperation with Mexican authorities, Mack said. The task force, whose sole job is to uncover drug smuggling tunnels, is made up of agents from ICE, Customs and Border Protection and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Follow BrianRoss on Twitter More than 70 tunnels have been discovered by federal authorities since October 2008, according to a report by The Associated Press, which first reported the new find. Earlier this month, U.S. authorities nabbed 14 tons of marijuana from warehouses connected by a drug tunnel from Mexico to south San Diego. That tunnel was built with structural support and had the electric lighting and ventilation. Just a few days ago a pair of similar tunnels were uncovered in the Arizona border town of Nogales. Mack said such tunnels had become a "major phenomenon ongoing increasingly in the last decade or so" for cartels in Mexico trying to get their product into the hands of U.S. cust

The discovery occurred Tuesday when an X-ray search showed the trailer packed with bricks of marijuana, officials said. Federal agents followed the truck to a junkyard on the U.S. side of the border where the seven suspects were arrested. Five of the seven are listed as being from Tijuana, two from San Diego County.

POPSI WAS HARASSED BY GLORIA ALLRED Allred agreed to fly up to San Francisco for the photo shoot. I picked her up at the airport and drove to the Bohemian Club. Arriving at the Bohemian Club my assistant and I began scoping out the exterior of the club for a suitable vantage point. We correctly assumed the club wouldn't allow a photo on its premises. Before we could begin shooting Allred stationed herself by the club entrance and began scolding members as they entered. As you would imagine this was not a one way conversation. Intending this to be a portrait rather than a re-enactment of the free speech movement I struggled to regain control of the situation. Having shots of Allred only from the backside would not be a career enhancer. This proved difficult so we moved Allred to a new location across the street. Upon finishing Allred was freed to return to shouting at men entering the Bohemian Club. Rejoining Allred near the entrance she prevailed up me to enter the club lobby. POPSABORTION WORKERS USE SCISSORS TO STAB BABIES BORN ALIVE Vegans won’t eat anything related to animal products, including eggs, milk, meat, fish, poultry or even a clear chicken broth. They believe to do so is cruel to the animals. I’ve listened to interviews with vegans who were protesting for the right of a woman to have her unborn baby sucked or dragged out of her body a piece at a time and then stand there and declare it’s cruel kill a chick and eat it. But no, not unborn babies. I’ve seen cars with a bumper sticker on one side saying ‘Pro Choice’ and a bumper sticker on the other side saying ‘The question is not, can they reason? nor, can they talk? But, can they suffer?’ with a picture of a cow. This same person is worried about a cow suffering and not a human baby that was ripped apart in the womb, or worse yet, born alive and then stabbed with a pair of scissors to make sure it doesn’t survive.
