Why I use Clipmarks
I Love the convenience of saving the "important" part of articles which I enjoy.
I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on eclectic topics which is available on clipmarks. Glad that I'm a clipper......I end up spending more time on this site every week. I am meeting some really nice people too. It is sad to see that the media cannot be trusted; the truth is out there -- but who's truth?

'House of Horrors' shocks country

Once in Christchurch, the couple were told by CYF that they would not be reunited with the children. According to Family Court advocate Peter Burns, who befriended the couple shortly after they moved south, Chamberlain then began to self-harm.~~~ Somerville could not read or write and suffered mental health problems~~~ Somerville and Chamberlain returned to Taupo to try to get their kids back. Chamberlain was hired at her old job at McDonald's and Somerville delivered pamphlets.~~~ This time they stayed for about six to eight months and then returned to Christchurch, apparently having given up their quest for the children~~

Dugard faces a change of identity -- she apparently was known as "Allissa" while living behind her captor's house -- and "has no idea what's out there," Morrison said. She may actually miss her captors because they apparently have been the center of her world for so long, she said. Probyn said he had lost hope over the years that his stepdaughter would ever be found. Now, he and Dugard's mother are faced with a potentially difficult reunion with their daughter -- and grandchildren they didn't know existed until this week. Garrido showed up on the campus of the University of California at Berkeley with his two daughters and tried to get permission to hand out literature and speak police officers contacted Garrido's parole officer. The presence of Allissa and the two children surprised the parole officer, who had never seen them during visits to Garrido's house.

Fromme was granted parole in July 2008 and released "via good conduct time" after completing a 15-month sentence for unlawful escape from a federal correctional institution, according to the statement. That sentence was being served consecutively after a life sentence for threats against the president. She escaped from a female prison in Alderson, W.Va., on Dec. 23, 1987, and was recaptured about two miles away on Christmas Day after a massive search. She was sentenced to an additional 15 months in prison for the escape. Fromme had said she escaped from prison to be closer to Manson.

hmmm, gives one pause for thought. I probably would've done the same thing if the robber were telling the truth. Wouldn't it have been easier for him to have stuck up the pharmacy for the insulin?

" Spector has won two Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, but he stayed out of the public eye for two decades before his 2003 arrest in Clarkson's death. In the 1960s, he became famous as the man behind the "Wall of Sound," an instrumentally dense swirl of melody and percussion underlying such tunes as the Ronettes' "Be My Baby," the Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" and Ike and Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High." He later produced the Beatles' "Let It Be" album, John Lennon's "Imagine" and the Ramones' "End of the Century."
