POPSAnti-war march across upstate NY 10days The longer this war continues, the more harm is done to our men and women in service, their families, our communities, the people of Iraq, and the world. It must stop. New York wants it to stop," said Lena Posner, another organizer.

POPS4 arrested at Kent State anti-war march "I'm pleasantly astounded by these kids today," said Arthrell, a teacher in the Cleveland City Schools. "They're really making a stand for a better world ... This is democracy's finest moment, when people take the initiative to change something on their own." There is an eerie similarity between 1970 and 2008. While I searched for yesterdays clip, I found articles about Viet Nam casualties, civilian deaths, Nixon's crimes. Substitute Iraq for Viet Nam and it all seems the same.

POPSWinter Soldiers testimony I've watched too much of this today. But it needs to be heard. There is some extremely graphic violence shown that some of the soldiers managed to capture on film.

POPSDemonstrations planned for Rose Parade Yet some fear the protests could develop into an annual pattern that could tarnish the parade's shiny image. "If controversy like this diminishes the positive impact of the Rose Parade, it would be of concern," Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard said. Chinese Americans who claim they were victims of political or religious persecution in China are criticizing the $400,000 Beijing Olympics float. controversy like this diminishes the positive impact of the Rose Parade --- Pomp & Circumstance -- where are their priorities?

POPSPelosi "recognizes" Americans' frustrations Lies, lies, lies. I got so angry reading this that I had to force myself to finish it. The gist that I perceive is that -- Americans are passionate and dedicated to bringing the troops home; just not able to comprehend the politics of doing so. We have to make responsible decisions in the Congress that are not driven by the dissatisfaction of anybody who wants the war to end tomorrow
