POPSAlleged Cancer Hoaxster Ashley Kirilow's Father 'Ashamed' Go to website for video. As a cancer survivor, I find this particularly reprehensible. There is an individual on the kidney cancer websites that I suspect might be one of these individuals. This person claimed to be stage IV without so much as a pathology report, then changed the story to stage I. This person is constantly defending their "cancer" and has expressed anger at those the raise doubts, saying that will hurt their chance of raising funds. Up until that point I thought it was just a case of hypochondrisis or Munchhausen's.

POPS Christopher Hitchens talks about God and cancer He discusses the chance he might recant when no longer of sound mind and in a weak moment. Definably not when lucid. Not doubt "believers" will use this as their "proof". Even if he doesn't, someone will surely report that he did, just as they did with Thomas Paine. How do you know when you are committed to life based on nonsense? When you have to kill people that do not share your delusions and require the reassurance of ignorant masses that renounce reason and humanity.

POPSIn Support clipped in support of a compassionate, intelligent and clear thinking person. One of the people that keeps me coming back to clipmarks. It worth wading through all the hate and xenophobia to find outstanding and thought provoking clips from debbyski.

POPSMore awesome quotes Unknown has some great wisdom to share. I found the quote about being right especially enlightening. We see the world from one point, to insist that is the only view is limiting yourself. One of my greatest failings.

POPSAmerican Psychosis "When a culture lives within an illusion it perpetuates a state of permanent infantilism or childishness." "The decline of American empire began long before the current economic meltdown or the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It began before the first Gulf War or Ronald Reagan. It began when we shifted, in the words of Harvard historian Charles Maier, from an “empire of production” to an “empire of consumption.” By the end of the Vietnam War, when the costs of the war ate away at Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society and domestic oil production began its steady, inexorable decline, we saw our country transformed from one that primarily produced to one that primarily consumed. POPSUninsured - a death sentence? "Uninsured " denied Medicaid and Disability for lack of a pathology report " no surgery " no treatment " just wait, watch and drive myself nuts." I'm so lucky to have the excellent care for my metastatic kidney cancer at Kaiser. Offered the services of excellent Clinicians and Surgeons. Should Kristy be left to this horrible disease simply for lack of insurance? Is this what happens to citizens of the richest and most powerful country in the world? America, hang your head in shame.
