POPSTubular Bells My father had this classic 70's record, which I used heavily as background music for play in my childhood. I hadn't heard it in a long time, and a few years back, a friend of mine gave me an mp3 rip of the whole album as one track which has suddenly played randomly, which made me want to at least look it up on wiki. Anyhow, the recording technique at the time was novel, and I thought this bit was pretty funny.

POPSum, art on acid? pretty interesting. I can't really relate to this but appatently does of acid in the 50's and 60's were up to 10x what they are now.

POPSDe Lorean an old band of mine had a running joke about how we would destroy the future of the band by spending 100% of the record advance money on a fleet of de loreans to shuttle the band about...given they only seat 2 people, we'd need like 8 of them to get the band and their gear everywhere
