Vantagens: * Diminuição de custos com obras básicas; * integração social e cultural das comunidades carentes aos moradores de outros bairros da cidade; * revitalização de bairros nas diversas áreas da cidade, e não somente na zona sul; * alocar população de baixa renda mais próxima de centros comerciais, já que são êles os que mais precisam de corte de custos com transportes; melhor qualidade de vida, com tempo que hoje são gastos na locomoção para o trabalho (em certos casos mais de 4 horas), serem gastos com o lazer; * descentralização do poder dos marginais, já que seria difícil para êles manterem o controle sobre a população em locais diversificados, e etc. ***********************************

Alone, the Republicans don't have the votes for a filibuster. So by joining with them, Lieberman would be tipping the balance of power in order to sink health care reform.
