POPSWikipedia & the classroom The on-going debate about the use of Wikipedia in the classroom via http://weblogs.elearning.ubc.ca/brian/archives/045541.php. It is very interesting. We are changing how we talk about wikipedia with the students here. We know it is out there and we know students use it. It is much better to understand how it works than to dismiss it all together.

POPSTeaching Jeff Corwin Spanish... I think this is a pretty great example of how to incorporate different tech tools in the classroom. Learning.now blog posted it so I thought I would share. It's humourous but definitely puts learning Spanish out there and teaches these kids about how to use these tools and have an online presence. Great job Mr. Craft & your sixth graders!

POPSTech & Schools - it's a tool I love that comment "Technology is just a tool, not an end in itself. It will never replace good teaching." I think, we need to keep in mind that there is a balance that needs to be forged between technology and teaching.
