POPSIf Fox 'News' was around to Report History
Yeah it would have been HisStory! ;-) Just like it is today! :-0 ! "Fair and balanced" if one equates reading lies off a teleprompter as 'informative and equitable' ... Who loves lies? Who cherishes lies? Who finds lies comforting & pleasing? Who is the father of lies anyway? So who do liars serve? And what about those who serve up or devour lies, thereby supporting, spreading deciets like a virus ... in the traffic of lies, does it matter if one originates the deception? If they promulgate false witness, support harm of those who have been falsely accused, is that not complicity? And how can one serve God, objectively, if they love lies, spread lies, support liars... ??? I think those who play with themselves and others are unwitting dupes who decieve themselves BEFORE they decieve anyone else. Just my opinion. And they serve evil, just like every liar before them. Personally I cannot stand lies. Or liars. MSM or otherwise. Thou shalt NOT is clear... lies, false witn

POPSPrediction: More alarmism in 2008 “In the last few months,” Mr. Gore said, “it has been harder and harder to misinterpret the signs that our world is spinning out of kilter.” But he was being too modest. Thanks to availability entrepreneurs like him, misinterpreting the weather is getting easier and easier.

POPSBees vs Cell Phone: Creating Another False Panic? Another take on the whole cellphones are killing the bees story that is buzzing around the net, today (hey, even Dizzy posted about it). I am posting this in the interest of introducing another perspective on the issue. The author is a scientist who says "wait a minute...not so fast...weigh ALL the evidence first, all is not as it would seem..." Hey, I can buy that...and, at the same time (like on the whole global warming issue), I can research the issues and come to my own conclusion--not one fed to me by the MSM...

POPSWhy can't Obama admit the obvious Even USAToday (who thinks the world would be a better and safer place if Saddam was still in charge of Iraq) is baffled by Obama's reluctance to admit the truth.

POPSDoes the Truth Matter? I couldn't have said it better. The MSM is now all over this. My guess is McCain will have to back off now....

POPSExtensions Don't Just Stretch The Army, They Stretch Families, Too!
This war is putting a strain on many military families and marriages. I seem to regularly hear about "another spousal suicide" in my neck of the woods...things that do not get reported in the msm, because it's one of those things that the military doesn't report because it would "harm the troops morale". A year ago, a woman across the street was found dead, her husband was in Iraq and he worked side by side with my husband. He "got to" come home...sadly. I hear about divorces on a regular basis, some families work it out, most don't. Who gets married to spend most of their marriage apart? I guess it follows the old adage that if the Army wanted you to have a family, they would have issued you one." I heard that a lot when I was pregnant and needed my husband home and we weren't even at war then! It's hard enough raising a child as a couple, it's even harder trying to raise normal, happy kids who know they have a daddy, but never get to see him.

POPSMika Brzezinski Hits 'Liberal Elite' Palin Critics MIKE BARNICLE: A little editorial opinion there from Mika! BRZEZINSKI: Well I'm just saying, I think there was a little veiled judgment that I don't appreciate, and I think that was incredible coming from two women that have benefited from the advances we have made and quite frankly the ability to bring our families forward and educate our children in ways that we wouldn't be able to if we didn't better ourselves. PAT BUCHANAN: This is a surprising attitude from them, isn't it? BRZEZINSKI: Thank you. BUCHANAN: Why do you think they said it in this case? Is it because Sarah Palin happens to be one of us rather than one of them? BRZEZINSKI: This is an argument Joe and I have about fairness and whether or not there are some sort of underlying unfairness when it comes to Republicans. And I just, you know, I feel it here. I'm not sure where this is coming from. It may be a woman thing.

POPSBush Vs. Zombies *LOL* Funny! Now, if the MSM just play this video over and over and over again, I'm sure it would only be a short matter of time before the sheeple of America believe it, like they have with so many stupidities emanating from the White House, like "Saddam has WMD's, "Get them there, before they get us here", "The world is a safer place now" , "If we leave Iraq, the terrorists will just follow us home." (What are they?? Lassie?!? *LOL*).... etc, etc, etc.

POPSGeneral Wesley Clark Joins Democrat anti-Semitic Wing
I clipped this article as an appalling example of the kind of extremist rhetoric that is being perpetuated by some right-wing political groups. Calling Carter an anti-Semite because of the title of his new book, and do not be fooled, the vitriol is based mostly on the use of the word "Apartheid" in the title, is totally dishonorable and disgusting. Now, trying to tag Wesley Clark as being anti-Semitic, and using his friendship with President Carter as a prime example of his anti-Semitism in a new low in all of this crap. As the editor of an online magazine promoting Jewish culture and lifestyle on the Web, I have no use for people who use criticism of Israel as a determining factor of a person's overall feelings about Jews. It is due to the efforts of AIPAC and other right-wing organizations that American Jews especially are being led to believe that only someone who is anti-Semitic would ever criticize Israel. I for one criticize Israel at times, and I am no anti-Semite.
