About me
I am a college student majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology; I also study Russian (and have done so for three years as of now), and am all but fluent in French. I love music (seriously); check out my Last.fm page, linked below, to see my listening habits – and feel free to add me as a friend. My interests include (amateur) digital photography, the webcomic Achewood, psychiatric genetics, and all things Russian.
Why I use Clipmarks
It is a handy way both to organize snippets of information, particularly those that I use in academic research, and to satisfy my slightly obsessive need for organization itself. The community is vibrant and delightful, too.

It's interesting to think about our involvement in the Iraq War in an historical context. Of course, this compares the length of the Iraq War only to America's involvement in WWII, rather than the war's entire duration.

France issues Rwanda warrants – BBC News
nohobot
by nohobot  11-23-2006
It seems strange that an arrest warrant is being issued twelve years after the fact. Personally, I think the whole damn world (except Canada) is responsible for Rwandan genocide, by virtue of the fact that no one (but Canada) responded, and many countries, including France and England, continued supplying arms to militants after the genocide began.

EU and Russia risk summit fiasco – BBC News

" also accused Estonia and Latvia of failing to respect the rights of ethnic Russians among their population." This is funny, coming from the president of a country that is at war with another ethnic minority group.
