POPSProtesting Clippers could face Prison or Fines. Well it's too late for me I reckon, so I might as well just keep on keepin' on peacefully protesting. Now more than ever, it seems so necessary. This is another "I dare you" clip. Are they trying to scare, intimidate or threaten people to the point, that they just don't dare comment or clip or pop or blog or speak out anymore? Should I just cave in and "turn myself in" quarterly and bow down to oppression? I think not. I will not be silenced. If I ever stop clipping about all this, you'll know why. See ya in Guantanamo! - The White House's own recently de-classified strategy for "winning the war on terror" targets Internet conspiracy theories as a recruiting ground for terrorists and threatens to "diminish" their influence. - Chertoff pledged to dispatch Homeland Security agents to local police departments in order to aid in the apprehension of domestic terrorists who use the Internet as a political tool.

POPSStupid Christians Navigate to the website and watch the video if you've got the stomach for it. I found it to be revolting. If this isn't child abuse, I don't know what is. How could rational people be so ignorant? Religion is how!

POPSBravo For Bush And Bravo For The Traders
Well, if Congress moves to seal the deal, oil prices will probably keep on falling. That’s the way traders work. They discount the future. Psychology and expectations can turn on a dime. The congressional ban on offshore drilling expires September 30, so that becomes a key date. A new report from Wall Street research house Sanford C. Bernstein says that California actually could start producing new oil within one year if the moratorium were lifted. The California oil is under shallow water and already has been explored. Drilling platforms have been in place since before the moratorium. They’re talking about 10 billion barrels worth off the coast of California. There’s also a “gang of 10” in the Senate, five Republicans and five Democrats, that is trying to work a compromise deal on lifting the moratorium. So it’s possible a lot of action on this front could occur much sooner than people seem to think. Deregulate, decontrol, and unleash the American energy industry.

POPSShhhh..... The Surge is Working Democrats worst nightmare. The surge is working, right when the cowards Pilosi and Murtha are conniving a way to stab our troops in the back. Who voted for these bums, anyway?!

POPSDemocrats Have Legalized Bush's Crimes Beyond the breathtaking scope of this new authority, the Bush administration also snuck in a clause that granted forward-looking immunity from lawsuits to communications service providers that assisted the spying. That removed one of the few safeguards against Bush's warrantless wiretaps: the concern among service providers that they might be sued by customers for handing over constitutionally protected information without a warrant. In short, the "Protect America Act" made warrantless surveillance legally cost free for a collaborating service provider, tilting the scales even further in favor of the government's spying powers.

POPSImpeachment is rightful course - G. McGovern McGovern says that American democracy has been "derailed" by the administration's commitment to "a murderous, illegal, nonsensical war against Iraq … done without the declaration of war from Congress that the Constitution clearly requires, in defiance of the U.N. Charter and in violation of international law. This reckless disregard for life and property, as well as constitutional law, has been accompanied by the abuse of prisoners, including systematic torture, in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions of 1949." Impeach! Can we impeach Pelosi also? She is an accessory after the fact, maybe even more.

POPSTo Replace Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House “Impeachment, …not a productive use of the House’s time.” Hoyer was further heard to remark, “It’s come to mine and Speaker Pelosi’s attention that professional Wrestling may be fixed. We and the entire coalition will not cease in our efforts to expose this most egregious fraud. “There may be drug use involved as well”, Pelosi added, “hearings are scheduled, subpoenas will be issued.”

POPSBETRAYED I am sickened by those elected officials who ignore their constituents. Especially Clinton & Obama who cast their "nay" votes by the time it made no difference.

POPS36 Congress Members for Impeachment The Cheney impeachment is really gaining momentum. I hope they impeach all of them; the US needs to restore it's image with other countries. A great deal of damage control is needed, so I just wish they would move faster before Bush writes some more "executive orders" and the dictatorship prevails.

POPSOrange Revolution: IMPEACH Enough is enough, and this July 23rd we will launch a new phase in the movement for peace and justice. We call it the Orange Revolution because starting that day wearing orange will signify that you want Congress to START IMPEACHMENT and STOP THE WAR. The majority of Americans, who want to see Bush and Cheney impeached and want an immediate end to this war, are made effectively invisible by a complicit media. Wearing orange will be our signal to each other, and to the world, about where we stand. Anything orange will do: a t-shirt, a wristband, your shoelaces. Get creative and send us your ideas.

POPSRescuing Our Constitution The article is too long to give it a really meaningful clip here. Link to the full article to appreciate and put into perspective the shenanigans of the Bush Crime Family.

POPSJimmy Carter - "Hillary supporters must accept outcome of pledged delegates" More: Mr Carter emphasised that he and many other super-delegates would not countenance this. “It would be undemocratic if the super-delegates blatantly went against the decision of Democratic voters across the nation. "And I think that many super-delegates who have not yet declared their preference have the same feeling that I do, including the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. She’s said over and over that whoever gets the most delegates by June 3rd ought to be the nominee.” It would be “too bad” and damaging to the party if the battle went to the nomination, he said. The role of super-delegates, he argued, was to swing behind the winner chosen by the voters and not to usurp them.

POPSWhy Congress Didn't Bring The Troops Home I think it would do us all a good service to try to understand why the Dems failed us in ending this horrible war, instead of finger pointing, name calling, and blaming. If we had a Republican Congress we'd be in war with Iran by now too. I think we should try to learn from this failure.

POPSCindy Sheehan Really Means It Cindy Sheehan and her fellow protesters really want to see Bush and Cheney impeached, and every day, increasing numbers of Americans are beginning to feel the same way. I am so glad she decided to rescind her retirement from the anti-war movement. She is a hero to many, and an inspiration to those of us who feel congress is simply not doing enough to end this war, and bring Bush and Cheney to justice for the lies they told the American people in order to get our support for this war, as well as their trampling of our Constitution.

POPSThe Evil Oil Companies Dear Nancy, Exxon's profit margin was 11.59 percent. Google's profit margin was 26.9 percent. You should raise the taxes on Google for their "excessive profits." (What ever the definition of excessive profits is.)
