POPSFix Ford Mustang Cowl leaks or prevent them Back in 1986 when I discovered my 66 Mustang had a cowl leak , I tried all the usual ways to slow or stop the ever present threat of water damage to the cowl area , This one actually worked well enough for me and have used one of these great covers for over 10 years, they work very well , i just attach it to the car by lining up the front edge and I'm done . The strong Magnetic action of the Vinyl coated rubber does the rest , Even when I ran my car at the strip it did not come off , staying tight to a timed 98 MPH quarter. If I had my choice i would have used one of these covers from day one of getting my Mustang and saved a lot of time and work , I now see they are available for Cougars as well as Ford maverick 60 thru 65 Ford Falcon as well as the same year Mercury Comets.
