Finally some clever person put Republicans in the middle of the light bulb screwing joke and IT HITS THE OLD PROVERBIAL NAIL ON IT'S OLD "IF THE SHOE FITS, WEAR IT" BLOCKHEAD! The only screwing light bulb joke EVER without humor! Just to be fair... Here is one about Dems screwing a light bulb: How many Democrats does it take to change a light bulb? One to change the bulb, six to talk about how wonderful it's going to be when the new bulb is screwed in, and ten to argue for increased funding for solar lighting research.

More: "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, announced December 19 that he would keep the Senate open with a series of "pro forma" sessions through mid-January." "Reid refused to approve Bradbury because of concerns about his involvement in crafting legal opinions for the administration on interrogation techniques of terrorism suspects." Maybe there is some hope that the Democrats will do even more to stop the tyranny of Bush and his administration. Go Dems!

If their treason continues, then decent and thinking citizens everywhere -- concerned patriots all -- can only weep for their country What do you reckon folks? Any grand heroes out there in the wings waiting to ride in and save the good ol' US of A from self-destructing? A Democrat? Republican? Elections? Captain America? Superman? Batman? Naaa, Gotham City is doomed . Prepared for life under the eternal rule of Lex Luther and Co. They say you get the government you deserve. Maybe that's true! The politicians, the media and even the people have betrayed the USA and everything She supposedly stood for, by allowing it to happen. Such a shame. The USA had such a bright future once. What a shame to peak so young and throw it all away. A real shame.

    America is Hungry for Change

The number of Democrats turning out is certainly impressive. And while the Dems opted for change it seems the Republicans are satisfied with the status quo. Keep appealing to that neo-con base during elections and generally ignore them the rest of the year. It seems everyone except the neo-cons are laughing at the naked emperor.

The killer: the Democrats were the ones who made it happen, a mere two weeks after Congressional leaders announced that they were going to let Title V, Section 510 abstinence-only-education funding die without reauthorization. Prior to this painful backstab, the Dems had given us the impression that these medically inaccurate programs, full of "false, misleading, or distorted information" -- as confirmed in Representative Henry A. Waxman's "The Content of Federally Funded Abstinence-Only Education Programs" report -- would be cut or eliminated by our new Congress. Instead, we're faced with an additional $27.8 million for this reprehensible approach to human sexuality education, not only hailing the failing White House Chief's delusional efforts, but providing a whopping tax dollar waste of $141 million to CBAE.

Republican Plan To Kill Off Government
    thinkingblue
    by thinkingblue  1-29-2008    5
View the chart on the right, notice in the past 30 years, how the Repubs have been pushing us down into a deep financial hole. Why? I can only come up with the conclusion that the red side of the aisle is out to kill off government, as we know it, altogether. Allowing them free reign to privatize EVERYTHING in the world which will allow their dreams of a World Global Market, in which they become the rulers of, to come true. The damn pesky Dems keep getting elected in interims and bring the NAT'L DEBT down to a manageable size. Just imagine if they had ruled straight through this 30 year period, their fantasies of total control would be actualized by now. I know this is a simple analogy of what the hell they are up to but maybe that's how they get away with what they are doing. Just act as though their plans are SO COMPLICATED, too difficult for the average American cretin to understand. Waddayathink? Lot's of info in this link: http://www.thethinkingblue.com/natldept.html

Dems. Concern Troll facade exposed. In Fowler's thought - expressed quite easily ~ and shared by more than a few Leftists ~ one does not know which nastiness is greater: (a)that displayed while enjoying the threat to the people of N.O because it interrupts the Reps., or (b) the show of disgust they muster when accusing the Right of that very thinking. Soooo often, when they habitually accuse another of a certain despicable pattern of thought or feeling, weeelll it is their own scent they're smelling. When a main element of the character make-up of a group is the pomp and self-aggrandizement causing them to believe their very body odors are sweeter than their counterparts, well of course they will blame them upon noticing a fowl stench rising. Thing is, it is most likely their own aroma which first wafts nostril-ward. ;-)

More Evidence That Bush Lied About WMD
    zasel
    by zasel  9-7-2007
This new revelation adds more evidence to the belief that Bush and his cohorts lied to congress and the American people about the need to go to war in Iraq. This is a must-read article from Salon, and I urge you all to take the time to consider its contents. By the way, does anyone know what has happened to the so-called part 2 of the intelligence report that deals with how the White House used the intelligence leading up to the Iraq invasion? I know the Republicans under the leadership of Pat Roberts put it on the back burner and then turned off the pilot light. But the Dems promised that this report was A #1 on their list of things to complete and release, and since then, not a word has been said. Or, am I missing something?

A reminder to remember Palin and her family in my prayers. "As usual, the DailyKos has been in the forefront of the attacks on Palin. Many of the more despicable attacks, such as the story that it was Palin's daughter Bristol who gave birth to Trig, have been removed from DailyKos' site -- not because they were inaccurate (which they were), but because they were becoming embarrassing to DailyKos and its owner and chief propagandist, Markos Moulitsas." "But DailyKos still has 51 lines of attack against Governor Palin up on their website, and to show you how depraved the mainstream media has become, many of them have been embraced by outlets such as CNN (embracing Kos Attack #4)."
