POPSThe SECRET Warehouse from Indiana Jones with contents I use a similar concept in a role playing game. This was a HUGE list and hard to pare down to 1000 characters and have to skip some hilarious items like: Two strange electronic devices, found with a set of identifcation for "Commander Pavel Chekov, Starfleet." A heave metal box, 75cm on a side, painted in military green. Each side has the words, "This side towards enemy" printed on it. (Nuclear claymore mine) The "magic gun" that fired the "magic bullet" that killed JFK A large stone tablet, reconstructed from pieces, with writing on it. It is Hebrew and has Commandments 11 through 17 Microscope slide labelled "Turin Shroud section No. 325", with piece of material reading "Made In Korea" in tiny letters Snake Plisken's death certificate A searchlight with the sillouette of a bat on it and Universal Solvent (we think) (bring your own container) (hurry) (never mind...) A great and funny list

POPSWriter's Digest 101 Best Sites Awards for 2008 There was NO way I was going to try and clip all of these sites but they are ALL worthwhile to any beginning writer or even a journeyman writer who has been out of the game for a while. I did not even go through the entire list but chose bits and pieces from the first half or so. Many say that there is no way that a writer can be discovered or get free advice. Here is some free advice. Enter Contests. Enter EVERY Contest you are eligible for. Wjen you look on the list and see the Horror Writer's Association link (Horror.org) I want you to know that this last Halloween, I found out just a half-hour before the deadline that a contest was running. I found an old story, dusted it off and entered it with 15 minutes to spare. I won. 1st Prize. My story was eventually printed in Rue Morgue magazine and now I am writing for a publisher under contract! Who'd a thunk it?

POPSTop 10 Likely Titles For The Next Stephen King Book Hey, do not get me wrong... I love the King. And as a struggling writer in the same genre I can only aspire to his heights of greatness... That said, this is a LMAO List and I give it props.. Stephen has also gone on the record to say that there has been times he knew he was not trying his best nor doing a credible job, but any Author who can say otherwise for their own self may cast the first Word Processor...

POPS8 Fictional Characters Who Died Too Early Well, I can not say I agree with the list all in total (Segal was not a big loss and a Video Game Character???) but overall, a well-reasoned list. A few key actors or roles I would have considered: Powers Booth in Red Dawn Orrie Main (Patrick Swazey) in North & South: Book III Laurence J. Fishbun in Deep Blue Christian Slater (no, not David Arquette) in 3000 Miles to Graceland Drew Barrymore in Scream Joker (jack Nicholson) not too early in the movie but in the series! George C. Scott in Taps. Morgan Freeman in The Sum of All Fears... Just a few off the top of my head and I am sure we all can think of others but this is a wonderful site for lists and this one (other than foe the inclusion of a video game) is a good list.

POPSTOP 20 WORST CASTING DECISIONS EVER Part I (#20 - #11) Not much to argue with the list maker in Part I. Vaughn ALMOST pulls off Bates but no one will ever be Perkins and that was sheer movie magic and acting perfection. "We all go a little crazy... sometimes." Still sends chills up my spine!

POPSList Universe's Top 10 Unsolved Mysteries Excellent primer on many of the more well known mysteries like the Shroud, the Black Dahlia, Mary Celeste and Jack the Ripper. The less well-known mysteries like the Babushka Lady, the Voynich Manuscript, The Taos Hum, The Zodiac Killer and the Comte de Sainte-Germaine are informative in a few short paragraphs and I suggest those interested to use this as a stepping stone into their own search for the weird, unusual, bizarre and truly unsolved mysteries.

POPSTop 10 Most Evil Women The List is well thought out and reasoned. The historical perspective of all but the late 20th Century killers (Beverly Allitt - #7 and Katherine Knight - #2) has stood the test of time regardless of Holocaust deniers and Historical revisionists. A perusal of the comments on this page are an amazing look into or own collective psyche as people asked "Why not...?" on so many from Aileen Wournos to Madeline Albright! A sew wanted their ex-wives on the list! U dud bit clip much of the sections on the two Nazi women or Katherine Knight so I would not have to mark it as mature. It is a fascinating, yet disturbing read and the honorable mentions of Queen Elizabeth I and Lizzie Borden are appropriate.
