Shreveport police chief Henry Whitehorn has confirmed that police are reviewing audio and video of the incident and will submit the case to the city prosecutor's office for possible prosecution of the actors.

If he was such a bad man could no one be found to "judicially assassinate" this 'turbulent' ruler? Keeping the rules has NOT been the hallmark of this administration, so why not 'eliminate' Saddam? The truth is that he was never the target. Assassination would not have produced occupation. It would have save 4,000+ US lives but we have learnt that these didn't matter either. The out of sight, out of mind, no presidential presence at funerals worked for AWOL Bush. However the broken in mind and body will not go away so easily. Until they are swamped by the next lot.

Public suicide itself is unusual. Suicide is a private act, usually seriously done out of view. Not at a public event with two presidents and a PM present. And a band. That was a nice touch. Maybe he was attempting to assassinate Olmert and was taken out first. But shooting yourself and jumping off a height is pushing credibility too far. In a state where Arab mothers and children are responsible for their own murder from the sky, credibility isn't creditable. Where 'judicial assassination' is the norm, this fiasco hardly rates. When the assassin(?) of Israeli PM Rabin is now toasted as a saviour, what should we expect? A state born of terror and murder infects its evil on others. No good god could permit such evil for so long.

POPS"Institutionally racist" MET is sued by leading Muslim police chief for racial discrimination!! Ghaffur is the latest senior ethnic minority officer to decide to sue the Met for discrimination. Dizaei, who is a commander in the Met, received a payout in his case, while the case of Shabir Hussain is still being heard. Personal, I believe the reason for the discrimination is due to his opposing the Labour government in its repressive Bush inspired 42 day detention period that is tearing the Labour party apart and will do for Brown. Another legacy of Bush's 9/11.

POPSMANDELA Arrives for 90th. Birthday Party Friday's concert coincides with the 20th anniversary of London's Free Mandela concert, which was held to demand his release from prison. He had been convicted as a TERRORIST by the APARTHEID regime. He was freed in 1990 after 27 years behind bars, and was elected South Africa's first black president in 1994. He will be 90 on July 18. He has visited London many times and has expressed gratitude for the constant vigil that was held outside the South African embassy in the city during the APARTHEID years. One GREAT MAN. What if ... .

June 6th was the 40th anniversary of the murder of 34 innocent servicemen and 173 casualties , some very serious. The miracle was that the ship didn't sink with all hands as the lifeboats had been deliberately destroyed when launched. WW3 might well have started as US nuclear armed aircraft were intending bombing Cairo as revenge for the sinking of USS Liberty by the Egyptians as planned by the real perpetrator, Israel. Fortunately the Liberty got off a signal in time.

The Vatican differs from the White House on immigration and the death penalty but on other issues including stem cell research, gay marriage and abortion there has been, as the Catholic daily L'Avvenire put it, "total harmony." .. POPSFOX forced to apologise for THIRD TIME in TWO Weeks The apology comes just over a week after one of Fox's anchormen expressed regret for a comment on the night that Obama won the Democratic nomination. Obama, in a show of affection, lightly touched his fist against Michelle's and the anchorwoman referred to it as a "terrorist fist jab". Previously, a Fox contributor Liz Trotta had to apologise after making a joke about Obama being assassinated. The trio of apologies is embarrassing for Fox. Murdoch last month praised Obama but stopped short of endorsing him, though his New York Post came out for Obama in January.
