POPSHelping Drug Addicts Through A Visionary Amazonian Brew The Jungle Prescription tells the story of ayahuasca, a visionary Amazonian brew of indigenous origin and its encounter with the West, as played out through the story of two doctors. The first, Dr. Jacques Mabit, runs a legendary detox centre deep in the Peruvian jungle. The second, Dr. Gabor Maté, is risking his reputation trying to establish a similar program in Canada. Through the intimate stories of these doctors and their patients, we see how an ancient medicine causes cathartic, life-changing insight, and we witness the commitment of people who have devoted their whole lives to helping others applying this medicinal knowledge.

POPSPolice Lawlessness Continues The brutality and lawlessness of police forces throughout the world continues. The global elites are using police forces to do their bidding, crushing any and all protest from the 99%, even to the point of beating pregnant women, attacking a retired judge, pepper spraying an 87 yr old women and beating a New York councilman. The fascist state is already here. In Cairo hundreds have been injured and at least 3 murdered. When will the rest of the population truly wake up to what's happening? Heaven help the 1% when they do!

POPSWorst Case Scenerio: Geomagnetic Storm
This is likely the first article I've seen which discusses how vulnerable we are too extinction via a massive number of nuclear power plants going critical caused by one major solar flare. I've had this discussion with friends over the years and it is generally met with rolling eyes and the typical head planted deeply in the sand. There are approximately 400 nuclear power plants in use one the planet. A major solar flare could render all electrical systems inoperative within minutes with no means of cooling the fuel rods. The last time such a solar event happened of note was in 1859. The world was barely electrified, but there were reports of telegraph wires spontaneously catching fire. The impact of the 1859 storm was muted only by the infancy of our technological civilization at that time. Were it to happen today, it could severely damage satellites, disable radio communications and cause continent-wide electrical blackouts. Every power plant and all the backup mechanisms would grin

POPSGlobal warming may not be man-made I post this article at the risk of being attacked as a global warming denier. This study which has been peer reviewed suggests we need to keep an open mind. This should not give those laissez-faire capitalists the idea that they now can dump unlimited amounts of poison into our atmosphere and waterways. We are dying a death of a thousand cuts and we need to be good shepherds of the land.
