It offers free education in any subject from Aerodynamics to Dentistry, from Calculus to History, from Business to Oceanography. All coursework is provided free of charge online. I checked it out and was very surprised by their offering.

I won't speak for anyone else, but i definitely have learned more from the clips that you all have posted than i did in high school, college and law school combined. Sad, but true. So, Skiff set out to create a fun podcast that highlights some of the interesting clips we find each day. It also gives us an opportunity to weigh in on them. POPS U.S. soldier fulfills his mission of getting Iraqi girl new legs One day, Falcon, a New Yorker from 1st battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, asked her what she wanted. He expected her to ask for a toy. "I'll get you anything you want," he recalled saying. "I want legs so I can walk to school," she told him. One day she planned to be a doctor. School was important to her. It was a daunting request. The family was too poor to pay for expensive prostheses. The travel alone to an equipped clinic would be too expensive. Her father is unemployed and ill. So Falcon, who admits he wasn't sure about the Iraq war, wasn't sure he was making a difference, decided he'd get Shahad her legs. He went to his commander, to his chaplain, to anyone who would listen. The quest was frustrating and took months of pleas. He threatened to walk away from the Army if he couldn't give Shahad legs.

POPSSex Ed Teacher Answers Student Questions on Masturbation, Parents Seek Criminal Charges This type of fear based mentality on the side of parents and school administrators is a large part of the reason teens struggle with sexual issues. Parents don't want to talk about it...prosecute teachers who try to answer the students questions...and yet we ask "Oh my! What has happened to our youth? Where have we gone wrong?" These parents need to be sued for utter stupidity. Don't attack a Sex-Ed teacher for trying to answer legitimate questions! If they want to control the minds of their children...HOME SCHOOL them in a church basement somewhere and mind the shackles please, they tend to come loose with time and age.
