POPSIt's Not Yours, It's God's "It's not yours, it's God's, and you're not going to get it," Copeland says of his financial records. He has launched a website to publicize his crusade and has received support from several leading conservatives, including Paul Weyrich and Kenneth Blackwell. Incredible! And tax free!

POPSWhy Ron Paul Won The Election The words and arguments of Ron Paul are still resonating. They still hang over this election. They are haunting and troubling. They are producing blogs and papers and books. And when those heady days happen a small but hearty band of pioneers, who first had the nerve to join him and start shouting from the street, “They aren’t wearing any clothes,” will be able to say that they could see what the country missed. They were there when history was made. John McCain and his poorly chosen words, of staying in Iraq a hundred years, have almost guaranteed that he will be the answer to the trivia question, who was the Republican candidate who lost to the ticket that claimed the first woman and black for the presidency? Another question may very well be, “What other candidate ran that year and launched the movement that has dominated national politics for the last generation?” And the answer will be Ron Paul.

POPSThis Is Just The Beginning
"Politically, we’ll expand the great work of our precinct leader program. We’ll make our presence felt at every level of government, where just a few people with our level of enthusiasm can make a world of difference. We’ll keep an eye on Congress and lobby against legislation that threatens us. We’ll identify and support political candidates who champion our great ideas against the empty suits the party establishments offer the public. We will be a permanent presence on the American political landscape. That I promise you. We’re not about to let all this good work die. To the contrary, with your help we’re going to make it grow – by leaps and bounds. This is the most ambitious venture of my political career, and I think it can achieve great things. But I can’t do this alone. I need you to help me. I need your energy, your creativity, your ideas, and your dedication. People frustrated with our political system often wonder what they can do. " There is much work to do!

POPSHouse passes bill (HR 4279) that will let the RIAA take away your home for downloading music If this bill is passed in its present form by the Senate and signed, that means there's no more pro forma RIAA lawsuit payoffs, because if you wind up settling with the RIAA, you could still lose all your stuff in addition to any fee you paid them. The more the law is constructed to sweep in folks who are absolutely observant of it, the more we need broader protections. The voting scorecard, http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll300.xml Only 11 Noes, to include Ron Paul. "It means they may take your home away if your KID is stealing music over the internet without even your knowledge. Cause it happened on property you had direct control over though you are clueless." Read the rest at the source, the comments are pretty good as well.

POPSHousing Crunch √ Food Crisis √ Peter Schiff was LAUGHED AT in 2006 when he tried to explain that we would soon face an upcoming mortgage crisis and the reasons for it, then he was scoffed at when he warned of the credit crunch and the food crisis, now he is called a "prophet" by some. Oh, and he is called the economic advisor to the Ron Paul presidential campaign! What an honest, intelligent economist. Great man to have on your team!

POPSHe's the Commander for Iraq. He may be a hero, but thank goodness he claims not to have any political aspirations! Petraeus graduated from West Point in 1974, earned a M.P.A. in 1985 and a Ph.D. in international relations in 1987 from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and served as an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the U.S. Military Academy from 1985 to 1987, but does not know the answer to that question?????! Read the Constitution, Peaches!

POPSWhat Happens in Vegas... This comment sums it up quite well, not made by me btw: I thought this was a good report, and touches on a few key points on which I'll provide a few brief thoughts. With respect to the McCain campaign being out-maneuvered by Paul supporters, does it really matter? McCain will be the nominee whether the traditional republicans somehow outfox Senator Beers and elect Ron Paul supporters to the national convention or not. Continued...

POPSGet a Grip on Your Cash In 2006 dollars, the minimum wage was $9.50 before the 1971 breakdown of Bretton Woods. Today that dollar is worth $5.15. Congress congratulates itself for raising the minimum wage by mandate, but in reality it has lowered the minimum wage by allowing the Fed to devalue the dollar. We must consider how the growing inequalities created by our monetary system will lead to social discord. The dollar today is worth only four cents compared to the dollar in 1913, when the Federal Reserve started. This has profound consequences for our economy and our political stability. Government officials consistently claim that inflation is in check at barely 2%, but middle class Americans know that their purchasing power--especially when it comes to housing, energy, medical care, and school tuition-- is shrinking much faster than 2% each year.

POPSThe Barney Frank and Ron Paul Bill “The Frank-Paul bill would stop the US Government from taking any further steps on regulations that would require all of the country’s financial institutions to block Internet gambling payments,” said Jeffrey Sandman, Spokesman for SSIGI. “It’s a bold move but a necessary one in light of the warnings from the Treasury and Federal Reserve that they did not know how to write regulations to solve the problems created by UIGEA.” “These regulations are impossible to implement without placing a significant burden on the payments system and financial institutions and, while I do disagree with the underlying objective of the Act, I believe that even those who agree with it ought to be concerned about the regulations’ impact,” said Frank, a Democrat from Massachusetts.

POPSFISA Amendments Act of 2008 The assurances in this bill that Americans will not have their communications monitored without warrant are unconvincing. The bill merely states that the government should do its best to avoid monitoring Americans if possible. We have seen how meaningless such qualified prohibitions have been as we recount the abuses over the past several years. Just today, we read in the news that the federal government has massively abused its ability to monitor us by improperly targeting Americans through the use of “national security letters.” Apparently some 60 percent of the more than 50,000 national security letters targeted Americans, rather than foreign terrorists, for surveillance. This is what happens when we begin down the slippery slope of giving up our constitutional rights for the promise of more security. When we come to accept that the government can spy on us without a court order we have come to accept tyranny.

POPSAre we better off than we were eight years ago? When a country spends way beyond its means, eventually it will destroy the currency, and we're in the midst of a currency crisis. Our dollar is going down rapidly as we speak. It's because we have lived beyond our means. We can't afford the foreign policy that we have. We have to cut back. We have to live within our means. If we're going to spend money, we ought to spend it at home, and that is why we have to change this foreign policy. We can't afford it to do what we're doing today because it will destroy our dollar. Ron Paul

POPSPat Buchanan’s Magazine Endorses Ron Paul!! We are under no illusion that he has much chance of winning the GOP nomination this election cycle. Nevertheless we urge a vote for him. This campaign sends a signal to both parties that a significant number of Americans value their country’s great Constitution, that many conservatives reject wiretaps, waterboarding, and senseless wars. There is far more realism in Paul’s analysis than can be found in those Republicans who believe that Washington’s policy of borrowing billions from China to pay for the occupation of a growing number of countries is desirable, much less sustainable.

POPSI.O.U. Thomas Jefferson lobbied vehemently against the central bank stating it was contrary to the Constitution. In 1826, the second bank's charter was soon to expire and presidential candidate Andrew Jackson campaigned strongly against a central bank, which was owned and operated by the international banking element. Here is Jackson's opinion of those bankers: "You are a den of vipers. I intend to wipe you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out...If people only understood the rank injustice of the money and banking system, there would be a revolution by morning." President Kennedy had printed $4 billion worth of non-interest bearing money, which meant he began to chop at the profits of the vultures. Interest free money means the national debt is eliminated and the power of the international banking element is broken. But he was murdered, as we all know. Kennedy wanted to abolish the Fed.

POPSIf a Dollar Drops, Does Anybody Hear It? People do not seem to be listening, we are in trouble here, and continue to turn a blind eye to what is happening. Members of the CFR really do not care which candidate is elected, as long as they are a member of the CFR. Look it up, chances are the candidate you are supporting is "in", unless it is Ron Paul. Look further: By David Rockefeller’s own admission the CFR was created for one purpose. The design, manipulation and creation of a New World Order. A single government that controls planet earth. A planetary government run by powerful bankers." Remember, we have been warned: ”The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.” – Thomas Jefferson

POPSThe Revolution: A Manifesto Here is Ron Paul's Preface to the book: Every election cycle we are treated to candidates who promise us "change," and 2008 has been no different. But in the American political lexicon, "change" always means more of the same: more government, more looting of Americans, more inflation, more police-state measures, more unnecessary war, and more centralization of power.Real change would mean something like the opposite of those things. It might even involve following our Constitution. And that’s the one option Americans are never permitted to hear…. With national bankruptcy looming, politicians from both parties continue to make multi-trillion dollar promises of "free" goods from the government, and hardly a soul wonders if we can still afford to have troops in – this is not a misprint – 130 countries around the world. All of this is going to come to an end sooner or later, because financial reality is going to make itself felt in very uncomfortable ways.
