POPSWhat Should Uncle Sam Do? I like the sound of the phrase "socialized capitalism"..... Every time someone mentions that there should be more regulation of the greedy corporations, some ditto-head conservative yells "Socialism!". I gues they would rather have "Socialized Capitalism" in which the CEO's of these large corporations get to go home each year with millions of dallars in income, while the rest of us bail out their failed businesses.....nothing but greed and corruption!

Saudi Arabia is the leader of the NON_FREE, SICK SOCIETY that is gushing money and trampling on any sense of freedom or human dignity. The War on Terror could have been much more effective without using 9/11 as a political pawn, and with an intelligent approach to a very complicated problem......."bring-em-on", was not very intelligent.....although it may have been "politically expedient" in winning an election or two.... Shame on you Bush!

POPSFree to Vote in Florida Amazing how many people were disenfranchised in the 2000 election. Many of the names on the list of "felons", where not felons at all, but law abiding citizens who were turned away at the polls. It is a fact and has been proven that the lists used to identify felons were completely inaccurate. Yet, because of a partisan supervisor of elections and other partisan officials, this charade of an election took place. It was a disgrace for Florida in the eyes of many people. At least the current governor is attempting to gain back some credibility.

It's kind of disgusting, but there is one consolation; what are they going to put in the library....pictures of Katrina victums.....audio and video of the so-called-war in Iraq........a replica of the new constitution with holes where our civil rights used to be........torture photos.......a big mug shot of Dick Cheney using his best "darth vadar" look-alike scrowl.......a wall full of "bushisms".......and Donald Rumsfield's most infamous line in describing the debacle of the aftermath sacking of Bagdad ("In a democracy people are free to do whatever they want......stuff happens.....etc.
