Google looking good with 40% paid search. Whereas, SNS ad will only account for 6% in 2012 and Rich media/Video 13.1%. Does it mean in 5 years, how we use internet won't be that much different from now...?

Manga expanding, Anime DVD decreasing in US
shimmy
by shimmy  12-13-2007
Although, Anime DVD is decreasing, Griepp noted that sales figures for home versions of anime released in theaters have not been following the dynamics of the rest of the anime market, and are actually quite healthy. Similarly, for anime on television, there were five channels that aired a total of 18 anime series in 2002, compared to 11 channels and 38 separate titles this year.

iPhone customers' complaints

It's hard to believe that iPhones can't download content directly from iTunes... But that's what Jobs wants users to accept as newly proposed content consumption style: Download content on PC and use it on iPhone... and strictly separate these two funcitons. What a non-sense.

国内携帯出荷台数(2006年度) # of cell phones shipped in Japan (FY2006)
shimmy
by shimmy  8-22-2007
3G出荷台数と純増にはおよそ倍の開きがあるが、返品率がそれだけあるということだろうか?月次平均3G出荷台数:370万台に対して、3G純増:180万台(=出荷数に対して48.65%) In Japan, there were on average 3.7 million shipped 3G cell phones per month, whereas, 1.8 million additional 3G subscribers per month. I wonder if all this gap means unsold rejection rate...
