POPSIran: The Revolution of the Kepis An interesting read. The reformers are the big losers. Most critically for Supreme Guide Ali Khamenei, this Friday's election should allow him to complete the transfer of power from the mullahs to the Pasdaran.

POPSNelson tight-lipped on quitting MPs Typical of the silver spooners, they can,t handle being on the losing side. They are sitting around waiting for the offers to come in to sit on boards of directors, or some other job with long lunches. They went into politics because they couldn't make it in the real world, so why would industry want them now. I wouldn't buy a can of dog food endorsed by them because it would be full of crap.

POPS'Degrading' to expose Howard's fall I can tell you I don't see the truth as degrading. We all make mistakes and the better people are not degraded when the mistakes are on display. You learn from mistakes and make better decisions from the experience. I guess these silver tails prefer their weaknesses not to be on display in a way that they have to accept part, or all, of the blame. They had their chance to knock out Howard and were to weak to do it.

POPSPakistan slams Australian view Note the threats if Australia declines the invitation - to show that all is well in Pakistan. Everyone may be at risk due to terrorism, some places are more risky than others. I wouldn't be wanting to go ( and I drive regularly on the local highway despite the risks drugged up truckies etc represent.

POPSLiberals leap to Rudd's People's Power jig Totally opposite to Howard who didn't appear to even consult his Ministers - just Bush. Politicians are elected by the people to do what the people want. Our taxes pay their wages. Rudd seems opposite to the little Hitler we have kicked off the stage with dishonour, exposing his cronies as a bunch of silver tailed failures.

POPSRudd scraps $642m in Howard pledges Most would know that the Howard promises were just "pork barrelling" and that he would have found reasons to change most after the election. Most were not aimed at creating effective infrastructure or those who needed some fair treatment.

POPSBerkeley’s anti-Marines declaration prompts bills to strip federal funds I don't see why a recruiting station should go, unless it is on campus, and it could be available at another close site. We have seen pics of Iraqi children getting special attention (publicity, says a cynic) and yet the US govt shits on its own kids by using them as political pawns. Bitter kids become bitter adults.
