POPSMedia's Double Standard I've noticed that the mainstream media still handles McCain with kid gloves. I wonder why that is...? OK, he was a POW, captured by an "enemy" of our government. But why should that give him a one-upmanship over Obama... as far as fair reporting is concerned? Maybe corporate media has more to gain under republican rule or maybe it's just that they fear a McCain attack because they've taken note of how McMean and his Cold-Hearted-VP pick's, mean-spirited, hateful innuendoes launched against Obama have stirred the "Republican base of loathing", to get "physical" with any contrived foe. I believe it's both but they've got the case of the willies when it comes to the ornery right-wing mentality, knowing they might band together and threaten not to buy the goods their sponsors hawk! :eek:

POPSHate From Right-Wing Talk Radio Shows I could never understand why anyone would want to listen to the hateful shows on right-wing talk radio. Especially, those who proclaim that their religion keeps them on the straight and narrow. Listening to the disgusting rhetoric these Shock Jockeys spew forth creates barbarity in those who refuse to think... When minds are so full of the nonsense from the right-wing creeps, who's only objective is to make money and control the masses, they tend to wreck havoc upon the innocent. (case-in-point, the pathetic nut who went on a shooting rampage at the UU church in TN.) We are all in the same boat. We love and want peace so why look upon each other as though we are just pockets of vermin. Haven't we had enough HATE? I guess there are some who would answer NO, because they live for aversion. Here's a little advice for DITTO-HEADS, you can live in peace, it's really quite simple, just turn your damn radios off and have a nice day. :)

Most people, are appalled that we live in a world where people are shot, maimed, blown up or mutilated because they are trying to create a better place for mankind. Our country has gone through some grievous times with the assassination of a president, the shooting of another president, the murder of a man of peace who's passion was to see that all people get what the constitution awards, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and a bullet to the head of a man campaigning for the highest position of the land while still grieving over his own brother's murder. We still haven't completely healed from all the wanton destruction this country has encountered. For someone to go on the airwaves, the people's airwaves and joke about execution type slayings is loathsome to no end. If she is allowed continued TV appearances by simply uttering a little unrepentant apology, none of us should stand for it. More Below:

But of all people to use such tactics, one would imagine, Hillary Clinton could never resort to such dirty tricks. After all the lies that the republican camps had flung her way hoping to smear her husband and herself into obliteration, I would think she would have become a defender of truth. I'm very disappointed with Hillary and Bill's choice to embrace the swiftboater's dirty maneuvers to win an election.
