POPSMissing ASP.NET Tab in IIS (even on XP sp2) I had this come up today and I have no idea why. The article clipped is about Server 2003, but I found that the first fix mentioned worked for me on XP SP2: 1) go to the appropriate framework directory (probably C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727) 2) run aspnet_regiis -i -enable In my case I ran it first as just "-i" and got an error. So I tried the "-enable" and found that it requires the "-i." Then I ran it again as listed in the instructions (with both -i and -enable together) and it ran without any errors. And everything works again :)

POPSEnabling XP visual styles in your .NET winforms app. I don't do enough Windows Forms programming to have worried about this yet, so I thought it was in interesting clip :) Plus, I'm on drugs!! I can clip any darn thing I want to clip right? (drugs being surgery recovery related btw)

POPSProcess Monitor v1.0 A great new tool from the new Microsoft Sysinternals site. It sort of replaces the old standby FileMon and RegMon utilities.

POPS8 Killer Windows MCE Plug-Ins I have MCE on my newest PC from Gateway. To me, it's just XP with an annoying media player. And it requires a hack to join my domain. What am I missing?

POPS10 Windows Explorer alternatives compared and reviewed Personally, I use Directory Opus. It's simply awesome. Of course, I'm an old Amiga nut, and that's where Directory Opus got it's start... :) Also, Total Commander is a very nice alternative - just not as polished, but with a HUGE user community of plugins, like Firefox almost.
