     The problem with pet overpopulation does not exist only with dogs and cats. Small animals and farm animals are often killed immediately because housing is not available at shelters. The phrase, "Do Not Breed or Buy While Shelter Pets Die" makes sense when so many millions are discarded. Many of these are purebred animals that few expect to see on "death row."

     There are such extremes in how whales are viewed by humans. Some people pull out all the stops to save one or two stranded or misdirected whales (i.e. the mother and calf in the Sacramento River) while elsewhere they are viewed as something to be shot with an exploding harpoon and slaughtered.

     I was introduced to Brooklyn Bunny on MySpace, but he/they have their own website with live bunny cam. I'm very pleased with their apparent care and concern not only for Roebling, but for animals in general.
