POPSWhich celebrity do you look like? Upload a photo and it is compared against a database of celebrities. Fun and pretty accurate. This didn't clip very well and there wasn't an actual description that was clipable. Try it with different photos.

POPSRead this clip and try not to say WTF!! I mean, are you kidding me!? Rachel Ray and Dunkin Donuts were offering "symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism" because she was wearing a black and white scarf. After this one, it's going to take a whole to shock me :) Honestly, i just tagged this clip dunkin donuts, rachel ray and terrorism - WTF indeed!!

POPSJyoti Amge of Nagpur - a tiny girl with a big, beautiful smile! She's a beautiful girl and happens to be the world's smallest at 1 foot 11 inches! "Jyoti is far from unhappy about her size and enjoys the celebrity status her height has brought her. “I am proud of being small. I love all the attention I get. I’m not scared of being small and I don’t regret it. I’m just the same as other people. I eat like you, dream like you. I don’t feel any different.” she says. Her size comes with benefits — Jyoti is a mini-celebrity in her home city, where people flock to see her, and some even treat her as a goddess. She has even recorded an album with her favorite Indian pop star, the bhangra / rap singer Mika Singh. Little Jyoti has tall ambitions to one day break into Bollywood as an actress. “I would love to work in a big city like Mumbai, act in films and travel to London and America.” she said."

POPSWe Deserve to Be Robbed Matt Taibbi's article is absolutely right on the mark. Unfortunately I found it impossible to clip in a way that would bring out the important points he makes to their fullest extent. Please read the entire piece at the link above. It certainly will have you thinking about where the priorities of country are leading us, and make you wonder if we really do not deserve to be ripped off as Matt says.

POPSAbout memes and memetics Or, why people are more interested in celebrity scandals and silly video clips than things that actually affect their lives. I highly recommend you continue researching the concept of memetics...and consider also how it can apply to vote-based sites such as this one (and Digg, and Reddit, and...)

POPSInsults: Physical Harm Maybe this is why so few people participate on the web and why that such a relatively large percent that do insult and attack other participants. It is a stress reaction that kicks up a fight-or-flight response. I try to remember most of those doing the insulting are expressing their own background of verbal abuse and fear. Try to let it slide off your back like water on a duck. That's good karma.

POPSDunkin Donuts Goes Completely Insane There are certain times in history that make us look back and wonder, "how is it possible that civilized people behaved in such craven and irrational ways?" The Salem Witch trials, for instance. The present moment will likely be looked back on as another such time. Case in point: Dunkin Donuts just pulled an ad in which TV cook Rachael Ray wore a scarf that somewhat resembled a traditional Palestinian head dress -- because imbalanced bloggers accused the company of promoting terrorism. I'll skip speculating on the sheer pandering nuttiness of Dunkin's decision, to point out merely what a dumb business decision this was. It's a global company. There are 1.3 billion Muslims out there. The math is simple.
