POPSWoman waits in California hospital for a bed to open up here Those of you that are anxious for government run health care be careful for what you wish for. My wife works for the VA hospital. She states that it is very different than the private sector. There are a LOT more managers but not as much goes toward care. In a very good local hospital, they are trying to go to all Registered Nurses. At the VA hospital, they have one Registered Nurse per shift. (I assume that this means for this wing or area of care. I don't mean to imply that this is true for the entire hospital.) Yet, they do have a guy that walks around in a suit and tie that is in charge of cleaning. (Something you would never see at private hospital.) I don't know what the answer is but does one really think the government can do better?

POPSHillary Clinton's "Don't Ask" Policy... This one should be good for a few comments! My comment is: How can she become President when everything has to be scripted? Suppose she goes on a trip to Iraq to talk to the President and she is asked a question. She would probably then say, "I don't answer questions." Or, she could possibly say, "That is a good question. I will have to take a poll on that one (and every other question you've asked me) and then I will answer it."

POPSPregnancy ‘was a shock,’ Jamie Lynn Spears says Said she was shocked. Out of curiosity why? Have they come up with new fangled method for getting pregnant I have not heard of? If you don't do the OLD fangled method, you don't have a chance of being pregnant I heard. I can't flag it as Mature but I can flag it as stupid is as stupid does. POPSElder Bush nixes Clinton trip idea Unbelievably ridiculous. I could not figure out why George H.W. would agree to this anyway. I was right. He did not. Bill Clinton really needs to keep this up if he wants to harm Hillary's chance for the Presidency. He is perfect at it.
