POPSThe Fearless Army of Mighty Mouse "Here I come to save the day!" If we can just get these fearless mice to sing. So, it seems that we're looking to isolate the fear gene. What would happen to the "fight or flight" mentality - isn't fear the very sensation that protects us. Oh look! There's a giant feline. Let me go up this tree, or in this cave, or in the water, or if I'm just brave enough...use a fiery stick to keep it's great yawning mouth with the sharp teeth at bay. Frankly, genetic engineers should spend their time mapping our fears and eradicating each genetic mishap; systematically turning us all into super fearless humanoids. Then when the aliens come...we'll be ready! (How did I get to War of the Worlds from Genetically Engineered Mice...?)
