Luciano Pavarotti Has Died
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  9-6-2007    5
Luciano Pavarotti has died in his home in Medina Italy, at 5 AM local time. I never got to see Pavarotti perform, but I have been lucky enough to see Paul Potts live and to see and hear the thundering singing of a truely gifted tenor is an absolutely amazing and breathtaking experience. Rest in Peace Pavarotti.

I'm surprised this even reached the foreign news media because it is not an uncommon practice in parts of South Africa, and has been for centuries.

How to Get From a 7 to a 10
Kore7
by Kore7  9-5-2007    8
What's your 7? Do you want more? Is a 10 even possible? Sometimes you need to step down first to find that next step up. Getting past a 7 is hard. It can take more effort to get past a 7 than it takes to reach a 7 in the first place. Some people would complain that it takes too long to get past a 7. But the truth is that the time is going to pass anyway. Even if it takes 5-10 years, you might as well get yourself to a higher level within that time, since the years are going to pass anyway. Whenever I feel I’ve gotten stuck at a 7, I stop and ask myself: What would a 10 look like?

NORTHCOM Plans 5 Day Martial Law Exercise
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  9-6-2007    18
There is no question that Vigilant Shield 08 is either government preparation for the implementation of martial law or a way for criminal elements within the government to distract emergency responders in order to conduct a false flag terror attack as a pretext to actually implement martial law and engage in foreign war. Hmm... I don't like the sound of this, but as my S.O. always says: "Hope for the best, but expect the worst".

BUSH MOVES TOWARD MARTIAL LAW
kcarr33
by kcarr33  9-4-2007    5
Please read the second paragraph. Detention Centers are being built for protesters, illegal aliens (yeah, right), "potential" terrorists, and "undesirables?" Does anyone have any proof of this other than this article? Because I REALLY just can't believe it. It sounds like an urban legend to me.
