POPS12 Uses For Vinegar I couldn't do without it. I buy it by the gallon! Vinegar is really good for removing calcium build-up and as a hair conditioner too (especially if you have hard water) It shines up my kitchen sink like a charm and put a little in the water bucket when you wash windows for a streak free view. Mix a little with some yoghurt and you have an excellent aftersun lotion that works better than any store-bought variety IMO and it helps avoid peeling if you get sunburnt. Zap a cup of it and the microwave oven becomes a breeze to clean. Save LOTS of money and lower your use of toxic chemicals coz it's eco-friendly too!

POPSSee 10,000 iPhone Apps All At Once OK, this is kind of a gimmick. But click through the second link above and you'll see a mind-bending mosaic of icons representing close to 10,000 iPhone apps. As some astute blogs have reported, Apple's App Store doesn't currently contain 10k apps--more like 9,700. The 10k figure is the number that have debuted.

POPSAPPLE GENIUS WORTH 8.4 BILLION: Guardian.co.uk's charles ARTHUR
The author puts a keen focus on how we gave Apple enough information to make 8.4 billion seem fair. Extremely sharp and incisive. I learned a lot. I think Mr. Arthur is a bit too quick to be interpreting Steve's algorithm at this point. I find that the program is genius in large part because while Steve Jobs and Apple⢠know the tempo of every song to a frightening accuracy. Five seconds of silent thought will tell you the reasons Mr. Jobs will not fill in a BPM (beats per minute) column. To truly understand the tempo manipulation: you;d need to see the algorithm itself! So said, knowing the speeds of the songs I play on drums (it's the drums or the treadmill - I'm doing the exercise thing), I find the program to be almost wildly genius. What's wildly evil os that 1) Apple knows but will not divulge BPM; 2) Apple uses the tempo element of you collection on playlists made for you that are so good that when I play I do not even look at what is coming next as iy has all been so

POPS$999.99 "I Am Rich" iPhone App Not A Joke I just checked the App Store and this app, which was released yesterday, is still live/available. Some see this as evidence that Apple is shirking its duty to select only useful, best-in-class apps for the App Store. But there probably is a market for witty, way-overpriced apps like this. And each time someone buys "I Am Rich," Apple will collect $300.

POPSOur future now. Can you have been imaging couple years ago that we will hold powerful mobile computer in a pocket everywhere we go? I remember something about tablet PC. Where is it now?

POPSiPhone Games Potential I think iPhone-like devices, i.e. big touch screen, connectivity, good processor, etc. are going to be a HUGE platform for games (an nearly everything else we do on computers). Big Duh!, but some people do not think so. Google's Android platform will be even better because it is so open. I do not think of these devices as cell phones. They are mobile computers that happen to make calls too.

POPSNBC Still In Talks With Apple Buried in the eighth paragraph of this story: NBC is still talking to Apple, the talks "have been free of acrimony" and the two sides could still reach an agreement before any NBC content disappears from iTunes. In other words, the headline of the story SHOULD have read, "Gosh, NBC Sure Is Unhappy With Apple" or "NBC Is Negotiating With Apple Via The Press." But that wouldn't have sounded as sexy. - Louis Hau
