POPSThe Treatment of Bush Has Been a Disgrace (?????) hahahahahahahahaha---this guy is so delusional...with all the damage Bush has done and is STIL tryin to do with his latest round of environmental deregulations designed to profit his cronies, I find it impossible to show him any respect whatsoever--He has no regard for people or the Earth! He should be prosecuted for war crimes and other felonies that he and Cheney have committed, not defended by this bozo.

POPSFormer Professor Says - Bush A Terrible Student And Pathological Liar Tsurmi said Bush sometimes came late to class and often sat in the back row of the theater-like classroom, wearing a bomber jacket from the Texas Air National Guard and spitting chewing tobacco into a cup. He was such a bad student that I asked him once how he got in. He said, “My dad has good friends”. Bush scored in the lowest 10 percent of the class. I hope we have learned never to be so unaware again. The lack of mindfulness can be devastating.

POPSDemocrats have done what in 2 years? They can lambast all they want about the 'past 8 years' Truth be told the Democrats have effective control of the house and senate as well as a majority of the governorships in the U.S. since November, 2006. We already know that the 'Speaker of the House' is a sad joke. And Congress actually has as low (if not lower) approval rating than the current president. So, I ask- democrats already have control, now what have you done with it? Nothing. Same as usual.

POPSNew Poll: Democrats Open Up Giant Gap Before Midterm Elections Government corruption, Iraq and terrorism were the three most important issues to poll respondents. They said Democrats would do a better job on all three. The party had a 21-point advantage on handling corruption and a 17-point advantage on Iraq. A longstanding GOP advantage on terrorism vanished; Democrats had a 5-point edge. Yet another set of record-breaking poll results in.

POPSRudd changed Australia: Can Obama change USA?
"There is a new mood in the country, a sense of rebirth and regeneration. After living through 11 years of conservative rule under Mr Rudd's predecessor, John Howard, many people say that Australia feels like a fundamentally different place. Some say that Mr Howard's policies made them ashamed of their nationality. Now, for the first time in years, they feel proud to be Australian." "A week later, the new government scrapped another of Mr Howard's ideological cornerstones: the ominously named "Pacific Solution", under which hundreds of asylum-seekers were intercepted at sea, before they reached Australian waters, and shipped to remote Pacific nations to be processed. The policy was supposed to deter "illegal immigrants", and it helped Mr Howard to win an election. Then last week, as soon as parliament resumed after the summer break, Mr Rudd apologised to the "Stolen Generations" – Aboriginal people forcibly separated from their families as children."

POPSThe LA Times says the time has come for the U.S. to leave Iraq The Lost Angeles Times, which backed the surge originally, has come to the conclusion, as have most Americans, that it is not working, and we cannot expect or brave soldiers to monitor Iraq's civil war. But Bush remains stubborn, even in light of his 28% approval rating and flaunts the will of the people who pay his salary. I wonder how the 08 Republican presidential candidates enjoy sinking into the mud because of their war mad leader.

POPSAll TV dramas in Iran to feature prayers newsreaders invoke God before each bulletin Anchor woman: God is great. And speaking of great, Spiderman 3 is smashing box office records. Anchor man: Praise God. Not many praising George Bush though, as his approval rating is now below 30%. Sports Guy: Hail, Mary full of grace. POPS Palin Loved on First Impression Her political enemies will surface and bring up the non scandal of the trooper non-firing. She is loved by the people, but hated by the defeated, corrupt political establishment. She will have the same nationally. She has too much of the common touch for the establishment to love her. That fact will only endear her to the people. POPSWhite House preparing to stage new September 11 - Reagan official
Old-line Republicans like Roberts have become increasingly disenchanted with the neo-conservative politics of the Bush administration, which they see as a betrayal of fundamental conservative values. According to a July 9-11 survey by Ipsos, an international public opinion research company, President Bush and the Republicans can claim a mere 31 percent approval rating for their handling of the Iraq war and 38 percent for their foreign policy in general, including terrorism. "The administration figures themselves and prominent Republican propagandists ... are preparing us for another 9/11 event or series of events," he said. "You have to count on the fact that if al Qaeda is not going to do it, it is going to be orchestrated." Roberts suggested that in the absence of a massive popular outcry, only the federal bureaucracy and perhaps the military could put constraints on Bush's current drive for a fully-fledged dictatorship. "They may have had enough. They may not go along wi

POPSSearching the net? You might want this... McAfee Site advisor is a free download toolbar that checks the website urls you type against its updated database. It is a fairly simple way for those lacking in firewall, security and prevention skills to help protect thier computer. The Coolest feature is that it integrates with Google searches, and lists its own approval rating (safe, bad, unknown) next to each search entry.

POPSA Bush rally "Bush's approval numbers may not change much over the next year. It may be that his administration will end up winning a war, keeping the country safe, and presiding over decent economic growth--and people will still disapprove of Bush." Yes, many will; but because they have been propagandized since 2000 to believe that he stole the election. Everything has stemmed from there. Too bad. History will put his presidency in it's historical context while many of our citizens and the MSM will not.

POPSEnd Of An Error "Indeed, it remains to be seen whether America's experience with the almost stridently anti-intellectual Bush, will have led it to discover that choosing a president based on how well a candidate registers on the "who would I rather have a beer with" scale, is a dangerously low standard indeed."

POPSCongress approval rating just 10% "A political establishment held in higher regard may have been able to hold together some kind of coalition of the willing," wrote Joel Achenbach in the Washington Post. "But distrust of the nation's leaders, from the leaders of Congress to the president, foreclosed that possibility." This was not mere rhetoric. Congress's public approval rating was down to 18% before the crisis hit. By some estimates, it is now 10% and falling. Washington has seen a "throw the bums out" mood before, notably Newt Gingrich's 1994 anti-government "Republican revolution". But this is something else. Like some others, Gingrich is calling for the resignation of Hank Paulson, the treasury secretary, for presiding over a train wreck and then failing to persuade people why $700bn was needed to get back on the rails.
