POPSCNN's "Scream Bloody Murder" is "Bloody Shame Whisper" Amanpour's failure to mention the "screams" of Henry Morgenthau and others is an unfortunate continuum of a political play. Even worse, when a reputable reporter such as she chooses to silence the calls of equally deserving fine men, then it does create the ultimate hypocritical human-rights rat's nest that no one could ever get out of unscathed. The timing of this matter is specially significant and doubly important as the reporter tries to bring attention to genocides on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the adoption of UN Convention of Genocide and Human Rights , which, by the way, was authored by Raphael Lemkin who coined the word "genocide."

POPSThe Economist endorsement of Barack Obama It says something: conservative Economist endorses Obama's bid, and makes a strong case for supporting him. Usually sympathetic to McCain Economist stresses that he leaned too much to the right to believe that he'll be able to get back to his own track, where he was comfortably sitting and winning support of many independent voters, against his own party machine. Article mentions strong positions of Obama on international arena (if the world were to choose it would be a landslide victory for Obama, as Economist's poll suggests). POPSChurch of the Holy Sepulchre Endangered by Battling Factions &Time Ah, Christian brotherhood and love at it's very best. "Rival denominations often battle for access or space and the congregation at the annual Easter service sometimes resembles the terraces of a boisterous football match. The keys to the main entrance of the church have been held by a Muslim family since the 12th century because the Christians do not trust one another."

POPSAzerbaijan tries to walk tightrope with Russia Some Azerbaijani officials are evidently concerned that if Baku expressed support for Georgia, then Azerbaijan’s own efforts to regain control of Karabakh would suffer. During the Moscow visit, Russian officials reassured Aliyev that he need not be concerned about Karabakh - yet. Medvedev stressed that the Kremlin did not see a connection between Karabakh and Georgia’s separatist entities. "Russia’s position has not changed," Medvedev said, referring to the Karabakh peace process. "We also support continuation of direct talks between Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents." Neither Aliyev nor Medvedev touched on the possible Russian large-scale purchase of Azerbaijani gas. Experts in Baku believe that Aliyev’s administration has yet to reach a decision on the matter, and is playing for time.

They make a compelling case for Armenian Americans to support Obama, as it is tantamount to supporting US-Armenia relations, whereas McCain is generally silent on US-Armenian relations and issues.

POPSBeauty of Iran From the site: "Richly-textured land, rarely seen in the West Outside of politics, this is a fascinating, enchanting world, rarely shown in all its color. Since our first part we received many requests to continue with the series, and in fact, we'll continue to highlight the natural beauty of Near and Middle East countries, such as Armenia, Lebanon and Israel. In our humble opinion, people should learn to appreciate natural beauty and historic customs, without reaching for a "telescopic finder" of a rifle."
