POPSFalse Premises I often come across people attempting to argue that atheism is some sort of a creed or even a religion. This clip touches on why this simply isn't the case. The article itself goes into much greater detail.

POPSThe new atheist nightmare is now a pickle Move over banana... This video fails on so many levels, but I do hope this encourages xtians to stick a fork in themselves and put it in a power outlet. It put jesus in the pickle, it can work for you too! hahahahahahahahahahahah

POPSTranscript of the Pope's Homily at World Youth Day For some reason I decided to come out of clipmarks retirement with this clip. It just made me chuckle. "It starts off a little clumsy, but it makes as much sense as anything I've ever heard uttered by a clergyman by the end."

POPSPZ Myers and Weekend Religionists This short 34 second clip made me imagine future church goers more as civil war reenactors. They are mildly entertaining to watch but you wouldn't base your whole life on their hobby.

POPSObama's Faith-Based Plan "We should evaluate any policy efforts to maximize civil society and faith-based solutions by whether they move in the direction of reducing the size and scope of government and whether they help individuals escape dependence and achieve a life of independence."

POPSZeitgeist the movie, A must watch if you can handle the truth! I do not agree with the first 40 minutes however, everything after that is based on true facts and I do agree with. I encourage everyone to watch the two-hour movie, and come to your own conclusions. Having an understanding of true facts for most people is a problem. They would rather turn their backs on the Constitution then to know what is at stake with this nation, and the world. The first 40 minutes in and was written by an atheist, and I do not agree with the rhetoric. The rest of the movie is based on true facts and if you can handle the truth then pay attention as the truth will be reviled.

POPSShowcase of Real Stupidity It's getting more and more difficult to keep up with the wackos these days. Ray's best line, of course, is his assertion that the poster he's responding to lives in an imaginary world. Irony meters all over the world pegged on that statement. Oh my!!!

POPSFood for Thought One statistic that stood out to me was the strange 1 in 5 self professed atheists that claim to believe in God. Atheism is conventionally defined as holding no belief in a god or gods.

POPSScientific Framing - Do We Need It? Recently there's been a controversy in the scientific community concerning scientific framing. That's framing in the sense of presenting views and facts in such a way that they appeal to a larger percentage of the population. We hear this mostly in the political realm but it applies equally in the scientific realm particularly where science and politics intersect. Is it the right thing to do? Is it too Orwellian?

POPSAtheist quotes From a Norwegian site in English. I recommend browsing the source itself. A rich content with some interesting articles and documents.

POPSThe Devil's Delusion More from the debates :) Better to read the whole review...i could only clip a lil bit. http://www.samharris.org/site/full_text/dont-write-off-religion-just-yet/

POPSTheist Quotes - a collection from various forums This doesn't even scratch the surface! Most of it is hilarious, and sad, that people can be so intellectually impoverished. I left off the names because they are probably embarrassing by now, assuming these people have improved their thinking. But the site (and shown here is a very short sample) credits the source and the person (otherwise you might not believe it with your own eyes)!

POPSNo God For Me Thanks! A recently discovered letter written by Albert Einstein, has once and for all ended the debate on whether this wise man of science relied on religion to get him through this life. "No God for Me, Thanks" says it all! To hear another intellectual on the subject follow this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sD0B-X9LJjs

POPSFreedom for All Because of the nationwide special privilege that Christians have come to expect this type of discrimination is common place.
