POPSRight-wing Propaganda against Obama gets into gear Notice that vile woman (snake?) Michelle Malkin is a contributor, along with Mr. excitement himself, Unca Fred T. These people are vile propagandists, liars and disgusting, obscene purveyors of an agenda that will only foster hatred. I got a very ugly letter out of the blue from this rag.

POPS The social web - power to the people!!! Oh yes, a truly revolutionary web we are weaving. My hat is off to people in places such as Egypt who brave the potentially dire consequences in order to spread the truth. Their words will hopefully lead to more democratic, free societies in places that have for so long kept their people bottled up.

POPSessay on creationism vs evolution long essay talking about how many who defend evolutionary theory need to rethink their approach because often their responses to creationists are inflammatory (thus hundering honest open debate) and/or do not reflect actual science. the essay deals specifically with the origin of life, and is a response to a couple other essys/blogs that are linked to.

POPS"White Guilt" Politics of Obama Crowd Undermined and then morphed that into the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) which earned him an invitation to sip tea with Chinese stalinists in Beijing in 1977. The Chinese were the originators of the idea that the rural third world south was being exploited by the urban developed world north. Klonsky fondly reminisced about his authoritarian left activities here in November 2007 stopping only to "repent" for his sectarianism while celebrating that he is now back together with former SDS comrades in "one movement." Now Klonsky blogs for the Obama campaign website on education policy and "social justice teaching." How is it under that bus, Comrade Klonsky? Mike Klonsky, former Weather Underground leader Bill Ayers' longtime comrade-in-arms from their days in SDS to the Chicago School Wars they fought in the 80s and 90s alongside Barack Obama, and presto he's gone. http://globallabor.blogspot.com/2008/06/how-is-it-under-that-bus-comrade.html

POPSDemocracy? cacophony? Internet poses new questions "If it all sounds like the cacophony of the Internet, or a busy commercial street on rush hour, is creeping into offline media outlets, saysme.tv’s chief executive, Lisa Eisenpresser, pleads guilty, only she prefers other words: democracy, marketplace of ideas." "Of course, there is still the freedom to cover your ears." With all that advancement, what i am missing is a serious question that one should ask himself, what is the worth of what i have to say?

POPSGot too many comments to keep track of? coComment! I'm really likin' coComment. Before, I had all these bookmarks in a folder to track comments I'd left on sites. It got pretty gnarly (in a bad way). Now, for the most part, I can use coComment. While it doesn't do forums, doesn't recognize some sites like Lifehacker and doesn't seem to work with Clipmarks either (yet!), it *does* work with most blogs and keeps all comment threads tucked on a neat page for future reference. coComment's saved me a lot of time thus far!

POPSPibb is Now Embeddable I'm on the fence when it comes to Pibb, but they are in the right area (and led by some smart people) with their new embeddable chat/thread code for WordPress blogs. I don't think I have enough audience to warrant using Pibb for my posts, but it would be a viable replacement for commenting. I wonder how it handles spammers?

POPSAnyone on The Left Approve of This? Cont... by mucking up my comments section with posts that said nothing, but all used the same in-joke pseudonym. Next, the tiny little thugs started putting up comments in my name and regular commenters's names, even using the word "nigger" in one of those posts -- as if that commenter had said it. That's straight defamation, and completely disgusting. Finally, after I started deleting comments that were clearly from people sent over here to be part of a mob to punish me for speech unapproved by the liberalocracy, the tiny thugs started posting huge spam posts like the one above -- also in my name -- from proxy servers in Germany, etc. So, in favor of your fellow travelers, or not?

POPSI click, therefore I am: Toward outsourcing our identity There are two complementary tendencies on the Net: one which encourages keeping multiple personalities, and the other which tends to gather them in a central personality. For instance, a survey said that most people on Twitter use more than one account and a site lets users create profiles for the different facets of their personality. We can set different email addresses (sometimes called “identities”) in email programs. Other tendencies are toward reunification, as in OpenID, a “way to use a single digital identity across the Internet.” Furthermore, many social sites we could be part of, like BlogCatalog and MyBloglog will show the identity we choose to when we visit blogs, leaving a trace of our path.

POPSIt's their M.O. Similar tactics apparently by Google to purge Conservative blogs. Do not believe this cannot happen in the USA. When you have those suggesting high gas prices and the catastrophic effects are a good thing if it leads to a wind turbine, then we are already half-way there and the rationalizations are endless. A window to the mentality of the radical Left.

POPSParis To "White-Haired Dude" --- "What Ever" Most astonishing of all, Big Media (the broadcast and cable networks, The Associated Press and major newspapers) continue their near-total blackout of reporting on a story that broke in the National Enquirer on July 22, well before we went on vacation -- where the tabloid's reporters and a photographer staked out a Los Angeles hotel where former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards allegedly visited his rumored mistress. You can read or hear all about it in the British press, online bloggers, Internet Web sites (including the Huffington Post and most exhaustively on Mickey Kaus' blog), the usual right-wing radio suspects. Even late night comics like Jay Leno are starting to joke about it. But don't expect a word of it to pass the lips of Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson or Katie Couric. POPSSpam for McCain and Win Prizes! I'm not sure what this is supposed to accomplish. Unless the intended message is that McCain supporters are really trollish and annoying, it's hard to see how this could possibly succeed. Freepers have been pulling this crap for years and they're still a distinct minority -- they've failed completely to turn the internet into a gathering of right wing nutsacks. Seems like a waste of money. This isn't exactly a new development, but it's nice to see it's finally getting some mainstream press.
