POPSClipmarks - Supergranular Version More reviews of clipmarks: One from Yahoo Finance (via Business Wire) and one from Webware. I loved Rafe Needleman's review at Webware and the "supergranular version" naming. :-)

POPSclipmarks.com Estimated Worth How it works? Websiteoutlook contains a collection of actual number of pageview from other websites. The visitor data is combined with information about number of links that point towards the site, country, Alexa ranking and other data that is available on-line. All this information has been used to make a formula that uses the information that is available on-line to estimate the number of pageviews, its worth and possible daily incom that the site has. How accurate is WebsiteOutlook? It is not an exact science, but it does give you a very good picture of how many pageview, daily ads revenue a website has.

POPSIdeas for Clipmarks - Part 2 So my last clip was not a big hit but the one before had good number of comments. I know I have not been using Clipmarks much lately (the clipdaddies wants me to use Amplify and the Clipmarks' original steam has been stolen by Twitter, two big distractions, but no love has been lost no matter how many old timers have jumped off the boat). But there's a lot going on here on daily basis (minus the spammers) and I'm sure you must have your list of things you like to see CM implement or change. I feel Clipmarks needs rebranding and relaunch with more focus on social-networking aspect. Off top of my head, I can't think of anything new I wish to see here except perhaps the landing page for visitors should be their My Guides' Mix page. More through the comments .... you add yours as well.

POPSClipmarks has been downloaded how many times? I was pretty surprised to see these numbers. Plus there are reviews, negative and positive. Even when the whole world is using Twitter (even including the clipdaddies here) I say this site still rocks!

POPSIdeas for Clipmarks? I think it's been a while since anyone has done it, so let me see if I can start something up. Others can follow. I would like to see on Clipmarks.... A list of 'Most active Clippers' A list of Clippers with most followers Simple interface with less drop down lists A list of Clippers currently browsing Clipmarks Ways to further decrease time it takes to clip, i.e, reduce clicks anywhere possible. More RSS integration, i.e., see if Clipmarks can auto-clip latest interesting news/feeds. More later.

POPSClipmarks and the Art of Highlighting Clipper {{JICWyllie}} published this piece in Inside Knowledge magazine. His insight regarding annotation and classification is fascinating. And it's inspiring to read about the potential of Clipmarks as a tool for group intelligence -- World Mind here we come! Thanks Jan!

POPSA Positive Example suitable for Clipmarks Devotees
I have often used clipmarks as a sounding board, to flesh out my own premature ideas in the delightful cloak of semi-anonymity. Not everything that I say I fully mean. Some thoughts are sounding boards to my own opinions until I firm them up and watch them gel in my own head while my fingers are flying across the keyboard. In the beginning, I spent every day reading comments people left behind mine, opening them up like christmas presents. For awhile, I left clipmarks because the animosity became so acrimonious that I suffered indigestion along with the cup of coffee and cookie I was enjoying while I read CM in the late morning. I have enjoyed clipmarks and enjoy reading the clips from people I don't necessarily agree with as well as those of whom I do agree. I hope in the spirit of the late Ted Kennedy we can take his example of leadership and disagree without rancor and argue passionately with tolerance for an opposing view. Thank you for reading. Good Day.

POPSAnother nice review of Amplify We haven't been seeking out the reviews, but nice to see Amplify getting noticed. I clipped this paragraph because it speaks to one of the reasons we created Amplify as a separate service from Clipmarks. We really didn't want to disturb the user experience or community on Clipmarks.com, but we wanted a way to better support Twitter and Facebook users as well as groups. We felt the best way to do this would be to create Amplify as a separate service from Clipmarks, but giving Clipmarks users the option to sync the two.

POPSClipmarks: NO REASON AT ALL NEEDED TO DELETE COMMENTS This was the thread that led to my asking Clipmarks for clarification on their comment deletion policy. It's official. {{Antara}}, and any clipper, is allowed to delete any comment on clips they initiate, for any reason or none at all. I personally maintain a "No personal attacks against other clippers" policy as my only reason for censoring comments. But if I just don't like you, your politics, your hair-color, your religion, your ethnicity, sexual orientation, your city of birth, the facts you offer... I can delete your comments, no consequences. The deletion pop-up reads Please only remove comments that appear to be spam or that you believe to be unquestionably outside the bounds of civility. But that's only a suggestion. I think this will lead to less discussion and a even more negativity and hostility between clippers, and I do hope Clipmarks reconsiders.

POPSExactly why we created Clipmarks... I just read this "why i use clipmarks" testimonial and it rocked me...because this describes exactly what we hoped it would be and how we hoped it would impact people. Click the source to see who said it...

POPSMy complaint e-mail to Clipmarks re: Antara Full text in case you don't want to click through to the screenshot: I'm the clipmarks user "spiritualmonkey". Is there some way to file a complaint against a clipmarks user? I believe Antara is abusing her privileges as moderator to delete non-abusive comments that she disagrees with. I point to this example http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/8AE40B3D-A41A-4D2E-B4BF-42067149143D/ I do not believe that the comment I left was in any way abusive or uncivil, and I believe Antara deleted it because she disagreed with the factual assertions made. Is this allowed? Can I get more clarification on what Clipmarks terms or use are regarding deleting comments? I've stated in my profile and I delete (and now disemvowel) parts of comments that descend into personal abuse, and I think I've stood by that. I want to know if what Antara is doing is Okay with clipmarks. 7/24/09 Clipmarks has responded

POPSCompare Please compare the class and presentation of these sites articles about their ideological opponent's Vice Presidential candidate. Just like we witness at Clipmarks, most progressives are children. The Liberalpedia boasts 100% truth, but it is probably only slightly more truthful than the opinion and assertions made here at Clipmarks.
