POPSWarmer seas boosted cyclones by 40% They can't say this will mean global warming will lead to more of these extreme weather events in the future, but from their computer models, they know the weather will always be an unpredictable beast. Lucky we have all that ice in the ice caps to cool the seas down.

POPSAre scientists underestimating climate change? "Uncertainties in climate change science are inevitably large, due both to inadequate scientific understanding and to uncertainties in human agency or behavior . Policies therefore must be based on risk management , that is, on consideration of the probability times the magnitude of any deleterious outcomes for different scenarios of human behavior." "The above recent developments simply might mean that the science is progressing, but it also may suggest that up until now many scientists may have consciously or unconsciously downplayed the more extreme possibilities at the high end of the uncertainty range, in an attempt to appear moderate and 'responsible' (that is, to avoid scaring people). However, true responsibility is to provide evidence of what must be avoided: to define, quantify, and warn against possible dangerous or unacceptable outcomes."

POPS Arctic sea ice cover at record low " Most researchers had anticipated that the complete disappearance of the Arctic ice pack during summer months would happen after the year 2070, he said, but now, "losing summer sea ice cover by 2030 is not unreasonable." Scores of peer-reviewed scientific studies have documented a steady, worldwide decline in ice cover, from the sea-bound ice covering the North Pole to the vast, land-based ice sheets that cover the Antarctic continent. Glaciers, from Greenland to the Alps to Mount Kilimanjaro near the equator, also have been vanishing."

POPSDust may tame wild cyclones Cool picture. Cloud seeding, but I think they've made the seeds better. (Picture does look like the life's work of a funnel web spider)

POPSCyclone with Baby Cyclones Smaller storm centers all around the main cyclone in this satellite Image of the Day. We really could use some of this rain!

POPSUnited Nations Weather Control Treaty: The Climate Change Smoking Gun
I've told a number of people that the technology to change our weather has existed for a long long time. Their reaction is often one of disbelief. But then I show them the page I created this clip from and their opinion rapidly changes. This is simply proof that environmental modification techniques exist that can change our climate. Now, suppose you wanted to impose a global change in behavior, you could do this by changing the one thing all peoples of this earth have in common: weather. You'd stage massive PR stunts in the form of articles being published in all major newspapers throughout the world. Stage popular culture concerts, produce films, get celebrities on board to hammer home the message, place adverts on tv, get multinational corporations to have a greener slant on their products, lobby governments via NGO's such as greenpeace, ensure green political parties are elected into office...the list is endless This has all been planned along time ago.
