POPSPalin She opposes same-sex marriage, but complied with an Alaskan state Supreme Court order and signed an implementation of same-sex benefits into law, stating that legal options to avoid doing so had run out. She supported a non-binding referendum for a constitutional amendment to deny benefits to homosexual couples. Alaska was one of the first U.S. states to pass a constitutional ban on gay marriage, in 1998, along with Hawaii. Palin has stated that she supported the 1998 constitutional amendment.

POPSLabour's respect for the Forces
How many other people have the courage to say to this Liberal effetism that it is not the dykes and the shirtlifters who are fighting Labour's wars, but family people, men and women with children and a sense of responsibility. When you have an MP, as in Blackpool South, whose record is clearly biased towards efforts to promote homosexuals, then what chance have ordinary folk got? Not a lot. In a world where there have to be priorities, the broadening of division between straights and gay can only lead to resentment on behalf of the majority. The widening of society is being brought about by an over zealot majority in Parliament who actively appear to be promoting everything homosexual, against the normality of human relations. Beware, it is these same misguided groups who want and promote the bringing down of laws which have been put in place to protect children, by advocating the bringing down of the age of sexual consent for children. No doubt Gary Glitter would approve.

POPSXena The Cultural Warrior I can see her right now; spear in hand, risking her own life; possibly with her own anti-gay activist Gabrielle by her side . . . Oh, that's soooooooooooooo hot.

POPSReligion Begets Prejudice .... Today it is from this same part of America, the most overtly religious part, that most of the hostility toward equality in the pursuit of justice for gay and lesbian people comes. The question that should be asked is: What is there about religion in general and Christianity in particular that continues to fuel the prejudices of our day?

POPSObama Pledges 'Total Equality' for Same-Sex Families So the false 'messiah' wants to decree what God (whether Jesus, Allah, or Yahweh) has forbidden. If this man is elected President, his mantra of "Change" will bring about the complete bankruptcy and demise of America and all it's stood for for over 200 yrs.

POPSSlavery Gets Shit Done Ye shall know them by their fruit. It's not hard to imagine what sort of values young master Schaffer was raised with. Maybe he has a future in conservative talk radio.

POPSRedefining Marriage a form of 'Soft Despotism' according to author
"In claiming for homosexuals the right to marry," she reasons, the "state also claims for itself the ability to declare what constitutes marriage . . . It transforms marriage from a pre-political obligation into its own creation." But as an artificial creation of the state, same-sex "marriage" is "an institution that needs to be coddled . . . Its very fragility demands a culture in which it is protected." This means, as Sugrue argues, that "once marriage becomes a statist institution for the sake of consenting adults, the state will increasingly be called upon to create the social conditions to protect these unions." The need for coddling means the state will use public education for this end, and align itself against churches that refuse to recognize same-sex "marriage." State-ordered gay "marriage" is an attack, not only on legitimate marriage, but upon religious freedom and the freedom not to have one's children indoctrinated into alien ideas about marriage.

POPSChildren's books become ideological battleground in Sweden
Both Tomicic and Salmson, however, dismiss the criticism as "cultural elitism," pointing out that they have received an overwhelmingly positive response from parents. "It is perfectly possible to make good literature that takes these issues into consideration," Tomicic says, pointing out that "we have good authors and illustrators and we insist there is a good story. That is absolutely the most important thing." One of Olika's illustrators, Per Gustavsson, has publicly criticised the publisher's request to change the colour of a girl's T-shirt from its original pink in one book, while questions have been raised about the interest of portraying homosexual parents in another book when the fact is not important to the story line. "We are trying to break a pattern," Tomicic responds, insisting that it is important to show children that there are many natural alternatives to traditional ways of describing gender roles, including the colours girls and boys wear, and family structur

POPSDr. Gary Remafedi Says ‘Ex-Gay’ Group Manipulated His Study And Should Immediately Take The Distortions Off Its Website Dr. Remafedi’s study was the one cited by PFOX to back their unfounded conclusions. Today, Dr. Reamafedi released the following comments to Truth Wins Out: “My work has been cited by PFOX in response to a Washington Post article on gay-straight alliances (GSA),” wrote Dr. Remafedi. “PFOX misuses one of my studies on suicide attempts in gay youth to argue that people should not identify their sexual orientation at young ages. Our findings do not support the contention that young people choose their identity or the timing of events in identity formation. Nor is there any evidence that the availability of GSAs influences those developmental processes.”

POPSSexuality Bias Seen "Banks said she believed the rumors were started by other attorneys in the Grand Rapids office who eventually landed jobs at the Justice Department in Washington. She declined to identify them. Monday's report also said that Goodling used an Internet search that included the words "gay" and "homosexual" to screen candidates and their backgrounds." Well now! We used to play a game in school called "Gossip". We'd line up several people and start a sentence and everyone changed it a little while whispering into each other's ear. Of course it was unrecognizable at the end and we would all laugh. The point of the game was to show the social implications of pettiness. So why would anyone care about sexual orientation at the Justice Department in the first place? Ah, back to that wicked game of gossip and backstabbing to get ahead eh? No better way than to call them lesbians.

POPSBisexual Species: Unorthodox Sex in the Animal Kingdom Nevertheless, the study of homosexual activity in diverse species may elucidate the evolutionary origins of such behavior. Researchers are now revealing, for example, that animals may engage in same-sex couplings to diffuse social tensions, to better protect their young or to maintain fecundity when opposite-sex partners are unavailable—or simply because it is fun. These observations suggest to some that bisexuality is a natural state among animals, perhaps Homo sapiens included, despite the sexual-orientation boundaries most people take for granted. “ the categories of gay and straight are socially constructed,” Anderson says.

POPSNot in MY NAME
Last evening I had dinner with a former comrade and his son, a veteran of the Iraq illegal campaign. So incensed were all that the younger said he was prepared to stand against Marsden in the next election "to show the hypocrisy of the position". I have not had a single reply from Mr Marsden since I pointed out that the British Armed Forces were the only force in the World, especially in Europe, that has not derogated against homosexuals into the Armed Forces. And I asked him why not? It is a tool of enormous blackmail. From members of my own immediate family, all long serving members of HMF's, the abuse against heterosexual members is wide spread and getting worse. As with the race situation, you try to comply with QR&R's and you are hit with..."you can't do that. I'm a homosexual (substitute Black for race)." If you raise the problem you are immediately labelled homophobic. Nothing can be further from the truth. I did a six week stint on an OP in Belfast with five other men. When
