POPSClinton Bows to Russian Support of Iran No surprise. This Administration goes ballistic and plays hardball with it's own citizens; not the Countries who pose very serious security threats to the US. Sec. Clinton and Pres. Obama hold not cards and have no grit. No one respects them or gives a whit as to what they think or say. As the article ends: "...it is difficult to describe the administration’s behavior these past few days as being other than amateurish and ideologically hide-bound. For the sake of the country and stability around the world, one hopes that at some point soon they will get their act together...". With the election of Mr. Obama, the era of US as a super-power is over. Behold the rising of China, Russian and Iran. We are NOT better off with all his "hope & change". Hope is gone and the Change is for the worse.

POPSGen. Petraeus discovers the Holy Land It seems increasingly clear that a thoroughgoing reappraisal of the U. S.-Israeli strategic partnership is in the offing. Much of the credit (or, if you prefer, blame) for that prospect belongs to John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt, authors of the famous (or infamous) tract "The Israel Lobby." Whatever that book's shortcomings, its appearance in 2007 injected into discussions of U.S.-Israeli relations a candor that that had been previously absent. Convictions that had been out of bounds now became legitimate subjects for discussion. Prejudices were transformed into mere opinions.

POPSIran's link to China includes nukes, missiles Not only does Iran possess advanced weapon systems from both China and Russia, they possess mutual support treaties. So the blowback for bombing Iran could threaten the entire planet. The one consolation, if you could call it that, is Einstein's prediction that the after the third world war, the fourth will be fought with sticks and stones.

POPSIsrael Charges Two IDF Soldiers There are many reports of the IDF using civilians as human shields (in this case, children). It's about time Israel itself (and us) stop turning a blind eye to such war crimes (also, like: collective punishment, apartheid state, the genocide in Gaza, promoting the wars in Iraq and now Iran, etc. People who use kids as human shields are no "ally,' of mine -- they are, in fact, Zionist Nazis.

POPSArab League, PA Pull out of Peace Talks! USA VP Joe Biden is in the Middle East this week -- so there has been a flurry of news, especially when Israel blew up the whole idea of 'peace talks," by announcing expansion...on the very first day Joe Biden was there. How insulting! But it quickly led to Biden "condeming," Israel's action. The Arab League did the same. Then the EU also joined in. This could be a significant turning of the tide and long overdue. We can no longer afford to turn a blind eye to Israeli aggression and war crimes: collective punishment, mass arrest with no charges, an apartheid state, non-stop aggression and expansion, the genocide in Gaza, and promoting the war in Iraq and now trying to promote a war in Iran. Enough is enough and all this is too much.

POPSRussia, Jordon to talk about Israel, ME. It will not be good If the United States continues to turn a blind eye to the war crimes and non stop aggression of Israel: non-stop settlement expansion, apartheid state, collective punishment, the genocide in Gaza, promoting the war in Iraq, now promoting a war against Iran, etc. Only with President Obama -- and VP Biden made it real clear this week while in Israel -- has honest criticism and perspective come out. (Which is why Zionist and most Israeli dislike him). But it would be bad to lose a positive relationship with Jordon (or keep threatening Russia). We (and the EU, etc.) should continue to wake up ASAP and realize their national agenda and best interest are not the same as Israel's. -- and that Israeli violence is no longer acceptable. The time for a peaceful approach to the Middle East was about 60 years ago. We're either going down a road of nuke war or stop letting this nation of 7 million mislead the world.

POPSEgypt says nuclear treaty 'a trick' Maybe there thinking is more to do with the fact that Israel has nuclear weapons and acts as if there are no laws effecting them. Simply, the powers with the nuclear weapons treat others with mistrust. No equality. Get rid of all of them.

POPSEU, Arab League+ Slam Israel
The very same day USA VP Joe Biden arrived in Israel to promote ME peace talks, going to the PA the next day -- this after months of work -- Israel announced expanding its settlements, approved 1,600 new homes for in East Jerusalem. This typical 'fart-in-your-face' lack of diplomacy is typical. But Biden quickly responded, condemning Israel's actions. Hopefully the tide is turning and the U.S. being deaf, dumb and blind to Israel's evils: collective punishment, apartheid society, genocide in Gaza, nonstop warmongering against Arabs and Iran, etc. Note: The international community considers East Jerusalem occupied territory and building on occupied land is illegal under international law. But "the secret," is that Zionism is really an eviction notice for all Palestinians. It's one of the reasons al-Qaeda gave for 9/11 (if that info has been 'kept secret,' from you). After we finish killing and/or capturing Al-Qaeda leadership we should reconsider our blind support

POPSWhy Israel Humiliating VP Biden? This article, from an Israeli news source, touches on what is obvious -- and frequently done. It one of a flurry of news item today coming from the visit of the USA Vice-President to Israel. He shows up. They get him to make pro alleged 'peace talk,' statement; get him to make anti-Iran having nukes statements THEN...RIGHT AWAY... Israel announces they are expanding their settlements into more Arab territory (a key "peace demand," is to stop such expansions). THEN, RIGHT AWAY...they announce they they will be building more nukes. This is how they also treated Hilary Clinton and they were even worse with Condi Rice.

POPSME Nuke Plans Announced The politics is amazing. Israel gets the VP of the USA to visit and speak against Iran and against Iran allegedly wanting to make nuke weapons (with Israel and we have) -- THEN -- announce it's plans to develop nuclear power. Just to make it clear: WE can have nuclear power and nuclear weapons, but nobody else can start down that road. The 'fair,' and/or peaceful way forward: Israel should give up it's nuke weapons. And no other nation should be allowed to build any. UN IAEA inspections have to be allowed in all nuclear power nations. The warmongering way forward: If any Arab nation says it wants nuclear power accuse them of wanting to make and use nuke weapons. I don't think we can go down this road of hate, fabrications, lies, false reasons for war, and nonstop global war mongering much longer. The only ones who are making cash on all this is Oil companies and Israel, and we need to get back and focus on our true national interest, not Israel's wars.

POPSWill Zionist Destroy America?
Israel is setting the agenda and the USA follows, to its folly.. U.S. VP is in Israel today and talked about "being allies," with Israel and the need to stop Iran from getting nukes. Thus the Zionist agenda is now the American agenda. No talk about stopping the genocide in Gaza. And outrageous ongoing lies about ME "peace talks," (really talks about Arab evictions, not peace) and lies about stopping expansion of Israeli settlements (a prime Palestinian demand). You can read this barefaced lie at the end of this clip, an Israeli spokesperson talking about a 'freeze on construction." But - hideously -- while those words are being said construction is ongoing. Hideously, one day after the Palestinians agree to the next round of phony peace talks (evictions)...one day later more Israeli expansion announced. POPS'Iran developing massive launch site' North Korea reportedly assisting Teheran in building launch pad for new missile. The new launcher, constructed near an existing rocket base in the Semnan province east of Teheran, is visible in satellite imagery, according to the report. The defense intelligence group said the appearance of the launcher suggests assistance from North Korea, and that it may be intended to launch the Simorgh, a long-range Iranian-made missile unveiled in early February and officially intended to be used as a space-launch vehicle (SLV). SLV’s can be converted to be used as long-range ballistic missiles for military purposes. Both the missile and the launch pad, which according to Jane’s is large enough to accommodate it, point to cooperation from Pyongyang.

POPSIran Begins Production of Cruise Missiles Iran also boasts an array of short and medium-range missiles capable of hitting targets in the region, including Israel, U.S. military bases in the region and much of Europe. Tehran frequently makes announcements about new advances in military technology that cannot be independently verified. Gen. Vahidi said the production of the cruise missiles, which took two years to develop, showed that sanctions on Iran have failed. He said the cruise missiles would strengthen Iran's naval power. Cruise missiles are highly advanced, usually subsonic rocket-powered weapons that can hug the ground and hit targets with great precision. The U.S. used large numbers of cruise missiles in its attack on Baghdad in 2002, launching most of them from warships in the Persian Gulf.

POPSWall Street Journal: “Real Truth Tellers” Will Be At UN Watch’s Geneva Summit As for the U.N. Council’s meeting, the main drama (apart from the ritual Israel-bashing) will be Iran’s bid to get elected later this spring as a member. Among its presumptive qualifications, says Iran’s foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki, is that last June’s elections were “an exemplary exhibition of democracy and freedom.” Other contenders vying for election include the Maldives, which bans the public practice of all religions save Sunni Islam; and Malaysia, whose judiciary is currently prosecuting opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim on dubious charges of sodomy.
