POPSLife in these United Police States! "This just isn't very surprising, is it? More and more often, honest, decent and law abiding citizens are finding that the police are at best adversarial, and more often than not, actually seem to take pleasure in agressive, bullying tactics. We are learning, like citizens of police states everywhere, to lie to cops even when we don't have anything to hide. Personally, I would never trust a cop to act decently, honestly or professionally. Punks, thugs and bullies are far too well represented in all branches of police, sheriffs and constable offices today in America." --Falon

POPSPit Bulls - Loving, non-aggresive dog stars I have a Pit Bull who is WITHOUT question the most loving and smartest dog I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with and I have shared my life with quite a few dogs! She LOVES kids! LOVE LOVE LOVE and more LOVE! It's the MORONIC IDIOTS who train them to be bad that is the problem.

POPS"60 Things Worth Shortening Your Life For" (Esquire Mag.) The Esquire boys put together a list of sixty dangerous indulgences that are worth the trouble. It's mostly the food that interests me (doughnuts deep-fried in duck fat, mega-burgers, schmaltz, oysters in butter, etc.), but I also like "keeping a shotgun in your house" (near the end). Also have a look at the Ramos gin fizz and the "road job."

POPSWhat I've Discovered Of course, this article is not to make light of the financial burden those have who have to drive long miles to work, but it's a great article for the things in life we "miss" by always being in a hurry in those 5 minute drives.

A student's perspective... very interesting point of view from a student (not sure what grade he's in). i just recently started reading Kazu's blog (http://kazublog14.blogspot.com/ ), but i really enjoy the honesty and subject matter. an honest perspective from a student growing up in california. props to the web for making it possible to be exposed to this.

POPSMake-Believe Maverick--McCain's true nature EXCELLENT article Highly recommend if you are wavering or undecided...Dramesi continued: "McCain says his life changed while he was in Vietnam, and he is now a different man," Dramesi says today. "But he's still the undisciplined, spoiled brat that he was when he went in."
