POPSBoy 14 Forced into Oral Sex on another Prisoner!!! Mazin Younis, of the Iraqi League , who has travelled in Basra collecting witness statements of allegations of abuse, says he now has "more than 80" cases involving allegations against British troops. "Every single time I uncover a personal story of torture and humiliation in Iraq, I think to myself that I have seen the worst there is," Mr Younis added. "Then I hear the next story. "Hassan shook with emotion and humiliation as he described to me the treatment he suffered at the hands of British soldiers five years ago. It had taken constant prompting and repeated reminders about the importance of detail before Hassan felt brave enough to describe how he was forced to engage in oral sex with his friend Tariq while their British captors laughed raucously and took photographs."

POPS15 Most RIDICULOUS Car Mods You Will Ever See I would like to see the impact ratings for the obese Cadillac. I am betting that 'mod' boosted the impact ratings. Kind of like slamming into a sumo wrestler. The WTF pt. 1 and 2 are vans from Japan styled in the Bosozoku fashion. Trucks like #10 used to be all over the place...back in 1996. That Nintendo valve cover was freaking genius. Picture # 8 is not a mod. That is a standard night headlight assembly for a rally car. These drivers are often doing +150kmph on a road designed for 80kmph in the dead of night; they kinda need really powerful high beams to see the road ahead of them well. Albeit, it may be on some dudes stock Impreza instead of an actual rally car, but it is not a mod anymore than having a roof rack to hold some skis.

POPSRAF: 'That (UFOs) exist is indisputable.' more (at source): "If the reports are taken at face value then devices exist that do not use conventional reaction propulsion systems, they have a very wide range of speeds and are stealthy. I suggest we could use the technology, if it exists." The internal debate in the MoD came to a head in 1995, when documents were made public revealing that UFO reports were routinely copied to specialist "Defence Intelligence" branches. An exasperated intelligence office wrote to the UFO Desk: "I see no reason for continuing to deny that (Defence Intelligence) has an interest in UFOs.

POPSThe real X files are revealed... Clarke said the papers showed the government could not conceal anything and that people were not going to find "that elusive bit of evidence that proves we're being visited by aliens". I am not sure that we are, yet if we do, how would humanity describe itself best?

POPSBombs in Paradise For decades, British ex-servicemen who were stationed on Christmas Island in the South Pacific in the 1950s have been embroiled in legal battles, trying to win recognition for their work and compensation for poor health they say is the result of the nuclear tests. Their latest attempt to sue the British government goes before the High Court on Wednesday, when the Ministry of Defence (MoD) is expected to argue the claims have been brought too long after the events. If the MoD loses, the government could face its largest class action yet, involving claims for millions of pounds from 1,000 individuals, say the veterans' lawyers.

POPS"Just stop being lazy": on being diagnosed with ADD/ADHD as an adult
I know there are teachers out there, and parents, who would tell a kid with cerebral palsy not to flail like that, who would tell a kid with Down Syndrome to “stop being so stupid.” I spent the first eighteen years of my life hearing people telling me, in effect, to just stop having ADD. I have spent the last three decades telling myself the same thing. I want to call the last 46 years, struggling with this problem, this sieve of distraction clamped around my mind that has only just now begun to dissolve — I want to call it a waste. That would be silly. I’ve accomplished a hell of a lot…accomplishments look all the rosier now that I know I scaled those hills with a hidden bag of cement in my pack. But I’m sorrowful that it took so long. And I’m angry — searingly angry — to think of that eight-year-old’s enthusiasm as it succumbed to frustration and repeated insult, and to think of the twelve-year-old he became, certain that he was the worst waste of skin in the world. POPSStudent removed from school & banned from graduation for creating map of school
Apparently, the kids created a map-mod of his school so he & his friends could play it in a game (like counterstrike or some other multi-player game, probably fps). Now I understand why some might get their panties in a knot over this, but I think it was likely innocent. Back in the day, my buddies and I did the same thing, creating a map of our school in i think doom or quake. We did it fir fun, not to "practice" killing our fellow students, but simply because we thought it would be fun play in a familiar map. That and it was a lot easier than dreaming up our own maps. Our lab prof thought it was fantastic and even played with us once (he was terribly horrible, but we thought it was awesome that he encouraged us to be creative). I think this kids was just doing it for fun, with no malicious intent. Now, however he has every right to be angry, they painted him as a terrorist & potential murderer, this will probably go on his permanent record even if he is cleared.

POPSRAF ordered to shoot down UFOs continues: At least half a dozen residents reported seeing the orange-yellow spheres, which some witnesses claimed were trailing tentacles. Dorothy Willows, who lives a mile and a half from the wind farm, said she saw a "low-flying object skimming across the sky towards the turbines" on January 4. The following morning, a 213ft glass fibre turbine was left crippled, with locals reporting hearing a loud bang like thunder. One of the £1 million turbine's 65ft blades was ripped off and another severely damaged

POPSSpeaker Pelosi Was Sending Messages To FARC Terrorists elected and popular government. The Wall Street Journal reported on the confiscated FARC documents that implicated Rep. McGovern back in March: The Reyes hard drive reveals an ardent effort to do business directly with the FARC by Congressman James McGovern (D., Mass.), a leading opponent of the free-trade deal. Mr. McGovern has been working with an American go-between, who has been offering the rebels help in undermining Colombia's elected and popular government. Mr. McGovern's press office says the Congressman is merely working at the behest of families whose relatives are held as FARC kidnap hostages. However, his go-between's letters reveal more than routine intervention. Now, today we find out who was directing Rep. McGovern-- Speaker Pelosi! Mary Anastasia O'Grady at The Wall Street Journal reported: FARC's 'Human Rights' Friends http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121538827377131117.html?mod=todays_columnists
