Here is my thank-you note to Representative Conyers: Dear Mr. Conyers, I am writing to thank you for joining, Florida Representative Alan Grayson in his quest to overturn the recent Supreme Court's sellout to Corporate America. The ramifications of this ruling will destroy our democracy. We should not be silent even if it seems hopeless. The GOP appears to be bent on destroying our country for reasons that aren’t quite clear and do not make sense. I know their interests are completely devoted to Big Business but they need “we the people” to keep commerce flourishing. So, Common Sense dictates that there’s “Something rotten in the state of Denmark”. Our lives are ruled by decisions others at the top make, Bad Decisions. They harm us in ways that are not always readily apparent and make the pursuit of happiness a joke.
